I am a mom doing all the things homeschooling and taking care of the home with 5 kids!
Sending kids to school I think is the "easy" way out. They are a blessing and it is a hard thing to raise our kids but God gave us parents instructions that we ourselves are to train them and raise them.... not to send them to an institution and trust that they are going to raise them right. I get you mama!!! You got this!!!

Sorry, Jill, I am not on Tic Tock. I watch all your UA-cam videos though, the books look good on the top shelf plus if they are about the same subjects or themes, it makes sense to keep them together. It's still windy and raining hard here in Ireland (no surprise there!!)😄

Little tip that might help you: I had a meeting with my 4 children and told them that I was tired of picking up and that from now on, everything that was lying on the ground, I would put it in a bag in the trash and I did it for just one day. Miraculously, from the next day onwards, there was never anything left lying on the floor in the entire house. Mom has to help each other out!😉 Choose a day when the computer is not on the floor! 😂🤣😂 I like the books there!
Lol well usually they clean the living and dining room after school but on days when I’m filming a video I tell them I’m going to do it, it gives me more to film. Or sometimes I film them cleaning it up. A lot of my videos you will see the kids cleaning their own messes but when I’m on a time crunch for a video I send them out to play and i get to work 😀😀
And check your Oven before you turn it on, 💙
I love the books on top! I know it sounds crazy, but when I hired interior design help in 2020, the lady put my books on the shelf backwards so the binding didn’t show, only the page side. At first oI thought it was so strange but looked around on Pinterest and saw it was a thing and now I love it. I alternate randomly with the bindings i like showing forward mixed in with the backwards books. I love it! Just an idea. Love your channel!
I actually think that sounds really pretty!!!!! The only thing that would be a bummer for us is that my kids actually read these books and it would be hard to find what they’re looking for! But that sounds pretty!

Our son went to a private Christian school for learning disabilities, he is severely dyslexic. Part of the enrollment was that parents must attend 2 evening classes per month. These classes were to help parents about the learning disabilities of their child(ren) and the other children and how to help their child(ren) to adjust to the world around them, besides dyslexia m as the majority of the student base, ADD/ADHD was the other half of the student population. Let me tell you, not one parent was prepared for what we learned and what the staff asked us to do. The hardest at first was to NEVER bring your child’s forgotten schoolwork or lunch to them- they must learn the consequences of their actions and to remove forgotten or disregarded items of the child(ren) from their room or any area of the house they left them, no excuses of why. Remember, at least 50% of the student base had ADD/ADHD. The other was nutrition and journaling their child’s foods and drinks and reactions and to eliminate that which exacerbated their ADD/ADHD or their lack of focus. Then there was the chore list, many parents had never incorporated a chore list or chores for their children, partially due to the lack of focus and how long it took to do by their child so the parents either did all the chores or just let it go- the staff told us the more chaotic the environment around the child (a messy workspace or house) the higher chance of their behavior being chaotic and unfocused, so we were to implement chores with a time limit for each and a small break in between each chore- let’s say many of us realized what a game changer this was for us personally and for our children. The school even had an outgoing class for parents who decided to homeschool and structure was a huge part of the classes, structured class time and structured breaks, this is why I only had no more than 4 subjects per day and only 1 hour per subject, 4 days a week with 30 minute breaks in between, most of the chores done before we started school and always done by 3:30 pm; and always cleaning up from one subject before starting the next one. As my children got to the high school level, we maintained the same structured learning but Fridays was projects and reports day starting after breakfast/morning chores and completed by noon. Friday afternoon was field trips, make up day if a field trip was earlier in the week, or just free time and Saturday-Sunday was basic chores and free time and family days. 3 of the families who were at the same school and left to homeschool, became close friends and we would do field trips and group lessons with them and the lessons we learned from the private school has not only carried us through how to approach and live with our children’s dyslexia and ADD/ADHD, but it has carried into our now adult children’s lives where they keep to do lists and structured chore times in their own homes to keep them on track. Just my experience with homeschooling and ADD.

Hi! Why don't you try with your kids, take a thing, use and put in the same place. Just try! Don't get me wrong, but it's a good pratical for the entery life. It's just an opinion, you do what you think is right for your life. I love your dress. 😊❤
