I am so proud of this movie, remembering my child hood I might just do the same thing that boy did, the fear to make mistakes,I would rather cover it up,my dad was worse than his father, I hated home, dreaded his coming home. He even luckily had a loving mother,mine died at 6 years. This might be just a movie, but I tell you it could have been my reality, I just never played with anyone growing up. A lot of things happen to children who are treated like the boy in this movie, but we really don't talk about it in this part of the country, we don't talk about how beating a child can get abusive, this narrative was a step father, so yes we can understand why he probably has no emphaty, but I tell you my dad did the same and worse to me growing up, my own father. This movie is speaking the African/Nigerian truth. To all the producers especially the script write thank you. Two things I got from this movie; 1. A nanny cannot take care of your child like you. 2. Your child can be abused, brutalized and damaged under your nose, befriend your children and always find out what they are going through, simply providing for them is not enough. The nanny taking care of the child wasn't actually the problem. What happened would've still happened, because the child would've gone to play next door regardless. The issue was the "independence " she was trying to instill.

My sister leave that matter the boy has psychological issues that has nothing to do with what his step father did to him. When Bimbo cried at the police station I wept too, that her story was related to mine, just that mine wasn’t abusive I got pregnant when am about to walked out and still lost him 2 months after I gave birth. Most pipo end up dying. These abusers make u lose all self esteem and worth. God help all the broken out there that have failed to seek help🙏

Scared to talk about what he did to a fellow child, and he knows what abuse does to him. My sister leave that matter the boy has psychological issues that has nothing to do with what his step father did to him. The man was not able to control his anger, but the child had his own bad behavior, he never does anything he is told to do, that is a deviant behavior that abuse does not cause.

This is not just a movie, it’s a movie every parent especially single parent must watch. I wept so loud. This is part of my fear for moving on with any man. When Bimbo cried at the police station I wept too, that her story was related to mine, just that mine wasn’t abusive I got pregnant when am about to walked out and still lost him 2 months after I gave birth. It’s so heartbroken😢😢. My prayer is may we not weep over our children 🙏 kudos to Bimbo 🎉 then we should always give our children a listening ear. And again let learn how understand our children mood. Immediately the mother came in that day, the boy wasn’t really happy and it’s over him he has something to say but the mom didn’t notice. May God help us all parenting isn’t an easy tasks especially single mothers who really care about their child. When you re the only one with the child’s welfare
