When I was 18 my best friend took his own life and 2 month later another friend of mine. For years I always beat myself up saying what if I had made one more phone call or went fishing with them, I would always think what could I have done to help save them. I finally realized that what they did made me a better person, taught me to always call my friends when we haven’t spoken in a while, take more time to hang out and not to be afraid to talk about my own mental health and when you ask someone how they’re doing you genuinely mean it. Truly taught me to love everyone, RIP Juan

I have also fished Ivey and that thing can turn into a wind-tunnel in a hurry, be careful on the paddle board. Also, there are some BIG bass in Alen Henry while your out that way, but I don't think you would want to paddle board it. Keep up the good work and best of luck. Took me awhile to figure out how to even live without him honestly, and it actually changed the entire direction of my life. Packed it all up and moved from the east coast out to the west coast with my girl, eventually started this UA-cam channel because the only thing that was still making me happy was a life long passion for bass fishing and spending time in the outdoors. I’m rooting for you, you’re great person with a big heart, & you make incredible content as you put a smile on mine and many others’ faces. I know loosing a loved one can be very hard and it’s the worst heartbreak above all others, I lost my mom two years ago, she was my rock, my best friend and I truly lost myself for awhile and there were many times where I felt like I wanted to end it all just to be with her again, and then I found fishing. It truly is a passion that can help many people through the pain and heartbreak that grief brings, some may not understand unless they’ve experienced it themselves. So with all that said, I can feel what you’re saying and how much catching this world record would mean to you and your friend Juan. I know you can do it, and you will. Patience and persistence is key. 🔑

I think it would be interesting content to research some of these lakes and find ones that have pretty low water body records, fish it for a month or two, try to find that water body record, then move on to the next (before we hit a slog). May even be neat to see you follow a bit of an endless summer feel, migrating north as the weather warms and then back south as the winter approaches. But not to Florida... Too many gators to be making content on a paddle board in Florida.
Since the general theme is chasing those "bests", would be helpful to have something at the start of the video with your current personal best, the lake you're fishing, the lake record, and your current best at that lake.
Anywho, excited to see where your adventure takes you. I can't think of a better thing to dedicate to a friend than this.

I love how dice are now balls. Next month they will be triangles and then diamond shapes after that lol. My favorite part about this is anyone can make these with recycled old plastic and jig or spinner skirts. I do this with my torn Yamatanuki plastic. Just a few pieces of skirt, a piece of wire and you can make some cool looking craws, dragon flies, spiders and all kinds of critters lol.
The thing about the dice is theyre flat sided. They push and displace water a lot better than the cue balls when they stop and twitch
that cue bomb is sick.. just went to tackle warehouse to find they are not in stock.. i will be emailed when they are in stock...... great video...

End of the day just fish the bodies of water that make you happy, you put in enough hours the results will come anywhere! I really want to try the cue bombs soon. I can definitely relate that fishing on an inflatable SUP in the wind is a huge grind. And on the fitness topic, for when you don’t have access to the planet fitness buy a few used kettlebells to tote around in the van so you can still do resistance training when you’re on the road. Cardio will help you live longer but the resistance training will help you keep lean mass as you age and keep you moving better! The Eagle is full pool for the first time in years right now and fishing tougher than ever. Good stuff man, I’d love to fish together soon 🤙🏽
