The story of a haunted palace situated in Dhenkanal is quite widespread and always been in the limelight due to its mysterious folklores, but the good news is it is no more going to be a haunted place. Jatan Nagar , the 100-room palace was built atop a hill in early 20th century by Pattayet Nrusingha Pratap Singhdeo, the younger brother of the then king of Dhenkanal.

Thanks for sharing this video which deals with the famous and Fabulous architecture of dhenkanal district. As far as I am concerned with the recent edition of dhenkanal historical facts, the king had not tried to build 99 rooms building, rather he had come with a dream to build a building which will have 99 rooms , which will be better for ventilation, and he had done this also, due to the course of time, some rooms have been broken, but at the initial stage, this building had 100 rooms.
