Two beautiful days by the sea in Makarska from our Balkan Motorbike Tour 2022 on a Transalp 650.
Day 8 was about leaving Dubrovnik for Makarska, Croatia. 150km long coastal route.
In the morning we had breakfast included in the price of 45 € / night from Mostel Sol. But breakfast was served about 200m away at Hotel Petka. Very good, diverse food.
In the afternoon we arrived in Makarska where we found a very nice accommodation at M & a apartaments. € 65 for two nights. Apartment with all comforts and facilities. New, modern building just a few meters from the beach.
Day 9 was very light. In the morning we started with a swim in the sea and then in the afternoon we tried to climb to the SkyWalk lookout point in Biokovo Park. Theoretically and initially, the road was closed, road works are being done... etc. But unofficially we managed to sneak past the machines and get to that glass balcony. The view is really beautiful. The good news is that it wasn't crowded and we didn't pay. Total route approx. 50km.
In the evening we went down to the sea to admire the sunset.
It was a great day!

Nice video 👏 I was also there (in June) before the road was finished, but on Sundays you could go all the way to the top of Sveti Jure, and the Skywalk also worked normally 🏍💨😉

It's a pity that there was a landslide and the road was closed, if it wasn't, you could have continued a few more kilometers to the top of Biokov St. Jure. And that's a great experience...

Depinde de cât timp dispui. Sunt multe locuri faine de văzut în România. Toată zona Munților Apuseni. Nordul țării în Maramureș și Bucovina. Cel mai bine faci o postare pe FB într-un grup romanesc gen "Motociclism". Cu siguranță lumea te va sfătui cu locuri faine. 😁🤝
