Tori has said her mother was always jealous of the relationship she had with her father. But her mother, financially has supported her tremendously. She helps with Tori's house payments and many other things. So overall she seems great.

Nothing wrong with what she is doing. Tori is irresponsible, the more you give the more she’ll spend. I believe Candy and the late Mr. Spelling have a plan to break her spending habits. 800k is more thn enough to build something great! Give me 1/4 of that and I will for damn sure make something happen for my family. Also, look at the resources she has with just being a Spelling. Just my opinion.
Aaron was a sweet guy and it’s a shame that life imitated TV (S.W.A.T.). Never liked his shows, except for Family when I was a teenager. The Spelling Family is a hot mess. I’ll teach them all how to manage money, since they all desperately need the guidance. They should all be leading peaceful lives with all the money they have. Instead, they create drama. The mother is mostly responsible for the dysfunction but they can all be taught how to be better people. It’s never too late.
I think not giving the kids a tonne of money has taught them to be self sufficient! Both kids are doing well now. However I don’t think she taught them enough life skills Jensen why they both ended up broke! She was too busy entertaining other people then teaching and spending quality time with her babies. Money does not bring happiness...she is proof of that.
I think Candy Spelling great and so gorgeous that face ,those eyes, the very wealthy are human beings too, give a person their due. I admire the way she's trying to start new at 69, she's dating and producing, I think that's awesome. Even though she's alot richer you can tell she's a lot more grounded than her daughter Tori who even though her parents loved her and gave her a nice upbringing and a career, she seems so ungrateful to . I like her and her husband, she seems overall like a nice , but spoiled and kind of foolish girl and watch her show ,but she seems so judgmental of her parents which is strange for a women who went off with a married man who already had a family and ended up not being such a prize as she's the main breadwinner
I thought candy was a gold Digger too but apparently when she met Aaron he never gave them a big wedding & she claims he was not very wealthy at all when they met. I believe tori confirms this. They met when candy was very young waitress in the 60s when didn't start producing until the 70s where he started making money into the 80s. He had nothing going on & produced some little movies & not much in television. 90210 was apparently his huge comeback. Then he went on another roll w/ fox & the wb seventh Heaven charmed etc. I also think candy since I had the mom in law from hell really was right about not pushing her opinions & advice on her own grown kids. If they ask she said " im happy to give it " I see no issue w/ that honestly. What's wrong with not wanting to push things on ur kids. My own mom was constantly in my buisness to the point it caused me a lot of painful heart ache. Any boyfriend or husband she was always getting involved or giving horrible advice to me or my husband soon to be ex that left me in a horrible spot. I'd rather a parent or mom that stays out of it unless I ask fit her opinion which I as a teen didn't want anymore. My mom is bi polar. Anyway tori had everything handed to her. A job at 17 on 90210 where she went from a tiny little part to major character as the 2 original stars had left. She also got tons of made for TV movies also was left 1 million in Aaron's will. Candy also has supported tori money wise for many years she simply refused to pay for toris extravagant credit cards or frivolous shopping habits.
Her two kids are not especially close to her. Their father is to blame. He left each of them less than a million. He left Candi $500 million. He was also gay and had a lover so he created a lousy family relationship. Candi likes to say he was the love of her life but the truth is he wasn’t much of a husband. He gave her the checkbook to replace his part in the marriage. The huge house was the result. She’s not one to complain about others spending habits. She built a hotel not a house.
