I have to agree with you; however, it seems more appropriate for the Kenyan Defense Forces (KDF) to undertake this mission. Reports suggest that U.S. troops are already establishing a secure base in anticipation of the arrival of Kenyan forces. It is likely that the Kenyan troops will be equipped with U.S. military vehicles, which I presume are already deployed and under U.S. protection somewhere in Haiti.
