- Express Yourself is a series of short segments (PSAs), airing on the Disney Channel since 2001, in which stars from the channel's original series and movies express their feelings about various subjects. The segment often features stars talking about everyday subjects with a common theme (e.g., parents, boys and girls, sports, etc.), but some segments touch upon a major news events, such as the September 11 attacks in 2001, the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami in 2004, and the Haiti earthquake in 2010. The segment airs during promotional breaks during Disney Channel programming.

I was born in 1994 and I couldn't agree more. I feel the same way about Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon as I grew up with all three channels; though I didn't start watching Disney Channel until the early 2000s because I mostly wanted Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon back then. I do, however, remember watching Disney's One Saturday Morning back in the '90s. Anyway, all I can say is what I wouldn't give to go back to these days.

Disney was the bomb back then. These commercials bring back great times.

I was born in 1996 and I get so excited seeing these videos. The new generation will never understand how epic Disney was in the early and late 90’s as well as the early 2000’s.

The Disney Channel stars seemed so content and relatable back then.
They're actors it's what they do. Also take a look into Dickey Robert Child Star, they end up worse off in the long run and with no many teen actors/actresses getting caught with drugs or DUI, it paints a grim picture.
Also, the manager in Bolt gives a nice example of what Hollywood is really like.

I miss this segment so much. Old Disney was the best. I pretend to have siblings even though it's not easy to be an only child these days. In fact, this commercial, which was called, Disney Channel's Express Yourself helped me learn how to communicate well to other people on either Zoom calls or during therapy. 👍🏻 if you want Old Disney back forever.

Seeing this is so heartwarming man. Disney Channel was so amazing to watch back then along with Nick & Cartoon Network. 90s babies experienced the last great era of kids television in my opinion. Before the Internet and social media took over.
I was born in 1994 and I couldn't agree more as I grew up with all three channels. And as far as the Internet and social media, nowadays, I use those to reminisce on the good old days.

These bumpers brought back the insecure feeling so many of us young people had after 9/11. If there's one thing I could wish for generation z it's not having to grow up under that fear like we did after 9/11. You and I have similar taste in the shows we watched, especially when it comes to That’s So Raven, Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire(Hilary Duff looks terrific), and Ed, Edd, n Eddy(greatest show on CN). To add to that, I also loved watching Jet Jackson, The Proud Family, and Kim Possible.
As for Nick, I didn’t really watch much of it either. The only shows I watched were Jimmy Neutron, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, The Fairly Odd Parents, and a little bit of Spongebob.
Watching this younger was amazing but watching this at 24 gives me such a different perspective. Its amazing that they had this.

It's funny how these people talked about uniting together and loving together after a disaster (9/11, tsunami, etc,.). Nowadays, a horrible disaster will come, yet people on social media will simply say the victims deserved it for even being part of a different political party member... What memories! I miss these days! One thing I'm confused about is why is Whoopi Goldberg included in these? Was she part of a Disney Channel movie or show that I can't remember?
