The amount of Time, Energy, Patience & Skill required to build a bike like this is MasterClass level. I’m rebuilding the engine and re-painting mine with some minor welds for a new battery box and I can truly admire the craftsmanship. Bravo 👏
Always tuned in to biker build off when Indian Larry was on. He took building to another level and this is THE best tribute I've seen to him. The twisted down tube, dished tank, etc. It's perfect. I'm sure he would approve! Cheers from the states.
Your channel does 'inspire' viewers. The finished motorbike looks beautiful. It has taken years of dedication to complete this labour of love. There is even new innovations built in. You never know what you can achieve and you certainly can rise to the challenge. If you enjoy what you are doing, anything can be achieved. You cannot put a 'price' on a work of art like this. A 'roadworthy' work of art.
I like the fact hes inspired by Indian Larry. As mentioned below it's just a clean beautiful chopper without the over the top stuff that creeps in these days. It really is inspiring.
Nice ride. That’s how I wanted mine to look like. Sold it before I could. I deal with chronic pain, so riding a rigid is out of the question. Beautiful girl, beautiful ride.
My brother-in-law here in Australia had a HD Shovel head he bought back in 1978. As a sign writer (old school), & as an artist, he turned his HD into a hard tail/rigid chopper. He painted the frame in a similar colour to this, candy apple red, with silver ghost flames. Luckily he lived then in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, which had quite good roads. Having said that I believe he only ran 5psi in the rear tyre to compensate for the bumps in the road!😖 As he is getting on in years he finally sold it after some 35 years of ownership & bought an Evo. 🤘🏼😎👍🏼🇦🇺
If only it had suspension in the back; I don't know if I could take it, my kidneys would give out. Seriously, you look SO bad-assed on that bike. Can't wait 'till yours is finished. :)
Ok wow! First off. That's a sexy fn chopper you have there. Love the ape hangers and flames, I'm a big fan of ape hangers and flame paint jobs. I really like how the rear fender complements the rear tire and the seat, they all blend together. The whole bike flows, truelly well thought out and put together.
😱NICE!!...but according to my humble "taste" ... this ATTRACTIVE Slim Chopper needs a BIG FAT LEATHER SEAT...which would bring her UP TO A "NEW LEVEL"...from ATTRACTIVE to GORGEOUSLY ATTRACTIVE!!💥💯💘👌👍👍 NICE WORK mate!!👏👏👏
Your experience building your own ride shows here, you are asking questions like a bike builder now. Clued up. It validates your thumbs up so much more when you know what's been done under a loveley paint job and appreciate the hidden effort as much as the visible stuff. Then getting to ride his irreplaceable labour of love... shows he had total confidence in you as a trusty rider too! I doubt you'd have got the key if he thought you were a fanny! 😎😂 Awesome job on this vid buddy, you won him over as much as his superb dogs 👌😃
Hello, my new friend. Wow, that's a fantastic and beautiful 💜💚💛 motorcycle video. I'm glad to be your great channel friend 💘❤💘💕 Have a lucky 💖💝🌷 day 👍👍👍🤙👌
This is English craftsmanship at its best. I'd keep the 39 mm frontend. You retained the front brake (smart). The fit and finish are amazing! Build right. Ride safe.
Beautiful make more of (2nd person point of view) videos, like the 1st couple of seconds, that was really perfect one more thing, nothing comes close to an old vintage bike (Honestly everything vintage has its own spirit no matter what it is), the look, the sound, the rumble, that mechanical feeling of things and how you need to be present to address those small details here and there and you are one lucky Lady to be testing those Beautiful piece of art machines
You never stop surprising me !! Where and how do you keep finding all these talented people? Fantastic video interview of a wonderful bike. Please make a nasty video soon so I can use some of my bad words... 'cause i'm slowly running out of good words to use without repeating myself, lol😆!! Thanks for finishing off a good Sunday of bikes and biking for me.., roll on next Sunday eve👍.
No no no no no bad videos anymore. You can repeat yourself, copy - paste your compliments but only upwards I’m willing to go. I want you and everyone on my channel to finish a week in a good mood. No matter how hard the week was, how much everyone got to ride they bike, how good the weather was… This needs to be something good happening. Every week!
@@tomboyabit No, "copy - paste" is too easy.... no, you deserve more than that for all your hard work. Thanks again, you really are keeping things happy and exciting for us.
I've not long since built a tank like that for a guy on a "Seriously Low" budget, I got an ordinary tank, cut the sides off & swapped them, & even if I do say so myself, it turned out The B#llocks, I really wish I could paint like that. All this talent in this tiny country of ours is "Inspiring".
I agree with you. And also these talented people don't get enough of appreciation! That is why so good to see such appreciating comments for a craft that deserves it.
That's a really cool chopper 😎🏍️🤘 The paint scheme, metal work, leather seat & pipes look amazing. Yes the airbag would be nice with that rigid frame. A springer front end would be really cool too and just finish it off. Looks like it was fun riding around on it. 😀
you all make it sound like magic i build one i like 10 times better than what your showing me,your bike looks ok anyone with money shop tools can do it on their own.
12:44 I'm not a Harley guy and I know they're supposed to sound like that on idle but to me they always sound like they're going to conk out. I guess I'm just used to precise BMW clockwork. Still I'm totally looking to pick up a HD for my next bike. Not a custom chopper though, I have neither the time nor the money for something like that. It's a stunning bike.
25K for a sportster is nuts! As far as paying that…if you’re building the bike for yourself to keep till you die…now that’s different…it’s too personal of a style to sell for 25K unless you just got a guy who’s a huge Indian Larry fan….personally I’d love to ride it just the way it is for around 10-15K…that is one killer bike! I’m more of a rat bike kind of look. But if you’re going to have a shiny custom built evo sporty…this is one to go with!
That's a beautiful bike you definitely have a place in your heart for Harley Sportsters. Did the Hooligan kit meet expectations I cant find the follow up?👍
very nice build, I could discuss a few minor tidbits I see in private if interested? I once built bikes for 2 decades of my youth, a guy took me in as a teenager, showed me the way, & 2 decades later we had a falling out, & part of our agreement to be taught by him was to never go in business against him to compete, he retired last year, so I just picked up a bike to do a light build with, to get my hands wet so to speak, & looking for a second to build wild. you mention molding frame, you did it the way most do, or have done, but there is another way, that wont have potential to eventually crack, torch weld, and torch work with brass, then a die grinder & flap wheels to metal finish it without any body filler. I still have a true chopper frame done in the 1970s, neck brazed where it was chopped, hard tail brazed on, & it has been numerous times to 3 corners of the USA New-York, California & Miami Florida, & Baja Mexico, and across the country dozens of times. I am getting my property ready so I can get a building to work in, so I can open a shop, old school only, I actually quit, refusing to work on modern bikes, in 2002, thts what me &owner had dispute over, & he was going to make me work on a TC, & I quit, & until 2 years ago, I had never touched a twin cam from modern era, nor an EVO, only shovels, pans, Knucks, flatheads, KRs, 45's Ironheads, & VLs. today I will work on anything, but 100% chopper / bobber guy, so no desire to just repair bikes, only old school traditional building in old school ways,
Nice Bike for being a Sportster, it looks pretty damn Kick-Ass! I personally would not own a Sportster I happen to own two Big (early model) V-twins myself. Though in this case I would seriously consider maybe building a bike just like this or similar to this having that old school 60's/70 bobber look. 👍
Hello 🙋Dogs have been your audience as well...maybe pets should be a part of your every video)))) I like it .. why the question is????? You love animals...it means you are a good man... ♀️.)))) on the other hand....this man in yr video is a genuine passionate of motorcycles...great job and skills.
I freaking love it! Not raked out, not a cartoonish rear tire, I love the paint, the twisted frame tube, I absolutely love this bike!😍
Gorgeous bike and nice to hear a mention of Billy Lane and the Late Great Indian Larry, may he R.I.P
That is the only reasonably attractive cam case chop I've seen after seeing so many attempts displayed.
The amount of Time, Energy, Patience & Skill required to build a bike like this is MasterClass level. I’m rebuilding the engine and re-painting mine with some minor welds for a new battery box and I can truly admire the craftsmanship. Bravo 👏

Saw this bike at the Kickback Custom Bike Show in May this year. Really nice attention to detail. I particularly liked the oil tank 👌
