If you double tap RB or R1 it will bring up icons of which linebacker u want to make a personal adjustment with. Y for db's, LB for lineman, and RB for ur linebackers. I think I learned that from one of savages videos

It's a lot better in cover 2 than 3 or 4, because you can still have viable user presence without completely abandoning either the short or deep outside zones. Honestly though, most of the time when people spam drags I just shade either cover 2 or 3 down and make one of my DL into a spy. It makes the drag window erratic (sometimes get hung up on spy) and creates an easy tackle unless they throw it very fast or late, where late throws go ~4 yds getting hit by flat zone. That said, this is a good video. I played against someone who did this in Madden '16 too, very good player, and I can vouch it crushes drag routes, you HAVE to take other reads against this look (high/low concepts in particular since the manned defenders are leaving zones, and you can still use high/low concepts against stock coverage if reading them well).

Hi I would like to know how to stop the doubble drag routes in madden 18 . Do you use the same method you recommended for madden 17 ? I ask this question because it's not possible to cover who we want with the linebackers in madden 18 (for example it s not possible to cover automatically a right wide receiver with the left outside linebacker .Thank you in advance for your advice
only issue i have with this is then either the corner gets open or they do a quick pass to the streak route. if i try to stop the corner they hit the streak. if i cover the streak the corner gets open. . hate this play and so many people run it
that'll ONLY work if your opponent gives you time to make those adjustments, which in online games they usually dont. Even @ that, theres 1 way to kill that adjustment if your opponent picks up on what your doing, no huddle, all the way down the field
Kirk Ford you should have more than enough time to make those adjustments. In hurry up its actually easier because you have from right after the play so they still need to set up
Making these adjustments presnap takes too long in most cases. So i suggest instead of manning up both of the backer against the opposite drag, just man up one and user the other
