Hi friends, in this vlog I have shared a day in my life vlog where I have started packing for shifting and work has started in our new house.

It would be better to take your china cabinet, it has such a unique design and it looks like good quality solid wood (as of today that would be pretty expensive if you think of buying it). While packing things in the carton, be sure to label it(what we did while moving was label all the carton’s number-wise and room-wise and accordingly made a rough list of the contents of each carton in the notebook so that helped me in the placement while unpacking in our new home), and don’t get stressed out just enjoy the process 👍👍
I’d suggest you to take your china cabinet to your new house. It’s very unique design and looks so beautiful.

For outside lighting you can install solar light .. polar outside with different solar lights .. I have done same for my house so thought of suggesting -
2-Pack Solar Street Light, Outdoor Waterproof, ,Dusk to Dawn,with Motion Sensor,LED Wide Angle Lamp,Solar Parking Lot Lights.. something like this .. hope this help and you can install it near the path and dnt throw the bowls now.
Take them in new house if you need then keep them replace in new place else throw then.. like the bowl

After packing all those stuffs ....please don't forget to label it ...that's more important.
That way u can tell movers guy to keep those boxes to labeled place ...like kitchen ka boxes ...tell them to keep in kitchen ...that way it will be easier for you to unpack later .

Don't discard china cabinet.. It's so beautiful .. it's like centre of attraction of the house for someone you came to your home , (Now in New home )
Payal if you are doing the packing, keep a sticky label handy & write down list of stuff you put into the boxes and on one side with a marker write in big letters which room you want the box to go. This is very useful and saves so much time and energy. You dont have to keep going back and forth and moving boxes around to find stuff afterwards. Unpacking is also quicker. The movers can put boxes as per your labels in the right rooms in the new house. Even if they do the packing, you can just write the room on the box once they are done, even if you can't list what all is in a box.
Je jai boluk India tey shoti help easily available than US. I just shifted my house from one City to another I hired Movers nd packers they did everything still moving is a big hassel. Payal one thing is a must make a list of the things you put in a box and paste it on all the boxes, dont just write kitchen or living room etc. mention exactly what is inside for e.g. white bedsheet set or may be big frying pan . Something on those lines. That way wen you unpack, you can easily choose which box to open first.

Payal, ignore thise people. 8 marks to your roti. All round it is !😂. You can packed acording to your rooms. And labelled it properly . It will be more easy to keep boxes in each room at your new house.
Exciting to go to new home and also sad a little to leave the home where our kids grew up too, memories associated too. I can understand that. Moving is a nightmare But new life in new home!! 🥰🥰

Provide you boxes free. They have built it in their charges.
They have special boxes for clothes. You can hang them with the hangers.
For each room keep one colour code or name ,write it on the box,so u can tel the movers to keep them accordinglyin ur new home.so sowely u can Unpack.make seperate boxes and mark them which u r using assoon as u enter the house and use the next 1 week or until unpack
Very wise idea
Take a marker and write over the packed boxes, what they contain. It will be helpful while unpacking
Priya take China cabinet and put in garage until you find space..you van sell any time if you don't find space but these are costly to buy

Payal the trick to get roti round is in the dough ball you make make sure you make the ball as round as you can then roti will be round too. 😊

Payal one suggestion: i see many dense trees around your house ..if its allowed then cut back few of the trees around the house because i remember my friends house was surrounded with tall trees and during hurricane season one of the two trees fell on her house fence and on the garage doing damage....so please access this too ...counsult with some and see if that could be a problem for future.

Gosh moving is so much work plus having a young child. We moved across states with a baby. Don’t try to unload first day you move in your house. You will be exhausted. Take time and do it slowly. I know moving can be exciting and emotional too. Good luck with everything. 🌼 I would come to help if you live near Long Island 😃

About the packing please pack some suitcases as of you are going on a vacation for 2 weeks all things you need otherwise you will have to open all the boxes searching for things.
And write all the contentents and which room it should go to on top of the boxes.Recently shifted house with a 3 year old and during pregnancy so I understand what you are going through 😊all the best and congratulations 🎉

In India also we wont getmuch help these days in metropolitan city like Mumbai it's very difficult to keep maids we do many on our own now everywhere we have to do our work ourselves 😢😂😅

Payal u should look into getting local help like long ago when we had used to make a simple move locally my husband hired a small pvt local business called ' 2 college guys' they packed n moved only the big stuff for us for v less but extremely well but u can discuss what you want+
