  • WELSH BEACHES! TOUR OF PEMBROKESHIRE WALES | Barafundle Bay & Pembroke Castle | AERIAL VIEWS!
In this video we continue our tour of Pembrokeshire, if you missed the previous episode where we explore Tenby you can see it here: • WALES is BEAUTIFUL! Ex...
We head over to Barafundle Bay for some late afternoon/early evening walks and views of one of the best Welsh beaches, if we’d had time a paddle board would have been perfect for this place, so if you have one, bring it with you when you visit. Otherwise just enjoy the stunning coastal views and tranquility of the South Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This beach is tucked away and involves a bit of walking to get to but it is so worth the effort once you’re there!
After Barafundle Bay we head over to check out Pembroke Castle whilst we were in the area. Pembroke Castle has a really fascinating history and was built originally from wood and earth back in 1093 by the English Norman invaders, today it is much more than wood and earth (no thanks to Oliver Cromwell who wanted it destroyed). The castle is open to the public and is the largest privately-owned castle in Wales, we would love to have gone inside but we only had the evening here this time.
    Upcoming Videos!
Join us next time as we hike from St. Ives to Zennor along the South West Coastal path. The views are incredible but we unexpectedly encounter a big problem.

A British couple from just outside London, England. We got married in 2018 and decided instead of a honeymoon we’d travel the world together. We saved money and travel points, quit our jobs, rented our house out and boarded a one way flight. We started this UA-cam channel to share our experiences with friends, family and anyone who plans to travel to the places we’re visiting. We leave TKT tips/facts on our vlogs and blogs to give information that we wish we’d had before visiting. We hope you find our content useful :)

Wow, Barafundle beach is gorgeous, I can imagine how beautiful it must be on a sunny day. Can’t believe the beach wasn’t fuller.

We’ve been on a really sunny day and even then it was a nice amount of busy, not so crazy as some beaches get. Thanks for watching ☺️

Looks like such a wonderful bay and water views. The old wall is stunning!!! The arches reminds me of Michigan coast in the usa. Looks like the beach is wonderful! No one around almost♡

Loved seeing more of the beautiful scenery there! The beach looked like it would be an amazing place to swim in the summer it seems like it was a pretty chilly day. I'd love to tour the castle as well and interesting to learn about the trust set up to support it.

Thank you both for exploring beautiful places in the UK. Living there for 4 months back in 2007, I always wanted to get to see the coastline but never got a chance to made my way there. I can't wait to get to visit one day. Amazing drone shots and wow the castle in the end is so impressive, reminds me of GOT :)

Wales is full of scenery that looks right out of GoT and Harry Potter (some of it actually is) we are driving around Wales atm and it is just castle after castle, so much gory history too! 😂

I'm not sure which we would have enjoyed more, the hike to Barafundle, or the beach itself. Both looked wonderful. We can definitely see why Barafundle makes it on the top beaches lists!
