  • For the Batter:
    1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
    ½ cup suji (semolina)
    2 tablespoons sugar
    Milk (gradually added to make a smooth batter)
    For Cooking:
    Ghee (for frying)
    Full cream milk (for soaking the pua)
    Instructions:
    Prepare the Batter:
    In a mixing bowl, combine maida, suji, and sugar.
    Gradually add milk to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
    Let the batter rest for 3-4 hours to allow it to become slightly fluffy.
    Frying the Pua:
    Heat ghee in a pan or kadai.
    Take a ladleful of the batter and pour it into the hot
    ghee. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
    Remove the fried pua from the ghee and drain excess oil.
    Soaking in Milk:
    Heat full cream milk in a separate pan.
    Add the fried pua to the milk and let it soak for a few minutes.
    The pua will absorb the milk and become soft and flavorful.
    Serve Warm:
    Serve the maida suji dudh pua warm, either as a dessert or a sweet snack.
