Starting in the Trubach Valley in Obertrubach, we first headed out of town past the Alte Küche rock group.
Franconian Switzerland offers many sights, one of which is the small village of Tüchersfeld in the Püttlach Valley with its Zeckenstein lookout rock. This is climbed on a hiking trail through the forest, past imposing rocks and an alpine ladder up to the plateau. From there you have a panoramic view over the village and the Püttlachtal.
We continued to the Bärenschlucht, which is only a few kilometers away with its campsite of the same name.
Finally, we went to Pottenstein Castle, the oldest castle in Franconian Switzerland. It sits proudly on a rock above the town and is open to visitors.
