I'm from the Azores and I must tell September and even October are better than July. August is better as well but it's more expensive of course. The summer comes and goes late in the Azores, in September you'll have warmer seas, higher temperatures, drier days and less tourists. I always advise September to my friends, its the real summer. There are rainy days, as always (that's why it's so green), so take the chance to go to the hot springs in São Miguel island :)
@@1ilaalejandra It was amazing. I had a great time. The hiking and lush green scenery was spectacular. I was very lucky with the weather in January. It was sunny and perfect temperature most of the days. It only rained 2 days while I was there.
yeah, but if you go on Winter and Spring you might get your sightseeing ruined by fog. The problem on Azores and Madeira is that, as volcanic islands, they get foggy days very often and the weather is very unpredictable. Going on July will probably make it less likely that you find fog, but not impossible. :)
old people don't, but young ones do speak English. In Portugal all movies and TV series have subtitles, they are not dubbed, so it makes us learn english quite fast. We are very welcoming people though, don't worry :)
@@Jorge23Costa realmente na TV aberta vem tudo dublado, mas em tempos de Netflix, Amazon, HBO a maioria opta pelo audio original, porém usamos muito menos anglicanismos
I've been to all the 9 islands and I've never heard anyone say that the Azores were an "ugly place" - quite the opposite, actually... but I guess there are stupid people everywhere.

Couldn't agree more. September can also feel too hot with the high humidity. We could not wait this month to end last year.

Is it better to come in early September or late?
Veronika Baráková mid September was good 👌
Thanks!
This was my first site of land after leaving a deployment to Kuwait. It was the most beautiful place I had ever been.
Beautifully made video... nicely produced. Loved the landscape and mountain shots. Thank you!
I'll be there for 8 days in January! I'm so excited! Greetings from Texas.

1:48 where is that beach?
Island of Faial, Praia do Port Pim, you can walk there from the main town of Horta.
More like Bonin Islands of Europe, no seriously. The weather would be great for me since I hate the sun and love the wind and the rain.
That's so sad.
I too love the wind and rain.
Es wettete ein Mann auf den Azoren,
sich ein Loch in den Kopf zu bohren,
ganz ohne Schmerzen,
bis runter ins Herzen,
er hat die Wette leider verloren.
Never. Ugly place
You dumbass. I'm azorean
