Hi! We're back! We were SO busy working on our second story that I couldn't make time to edit, then the very next day I got sick with Covid! We're still feeling rough, but this house must be insulated before winter so we're doing all we can to heal and continue on!
Stay safe ur in my prayers.. covid killed me twice in 2021 I still haven’t recovered from dying second time.. I believe they did damage ventilating me.. but I’m here so I’m accepting what lies ahead.. the first time stent in heart but heart did recover past what they figured..u two amaze me n as does ur support group u have backing ur family friends..I’m going to miss scamp but so so so going to love seeing u spread out ..spread ur wings u two soar.. peace ✌️

Does anyone else get vertigo watching them build on the second level? Standing on the edge, leaving over open space... shiver! My legs get wobbly just watching. I'm so impressed with all the work you all are doing on your house and can't imagine how hard it is-- hoisting 40 lb bricks up a ladder! And that's not even the hardest thing. Thanks for sharing your process with us, and I hope you and anyoe else here feels better soon.
The views from all of the windows are so beautiful! Love seeing all the evergreen shrubs and trees that surround the property with the rocky bluffs in the distance. Gorgeous!
Just have to say, I love the little things. I love the little drawn on lines when someone claps. Had been looking for it on previous videos as it had dissapeared. Glad it's back. Made me laugh when the guys were both clapping.
I know adding in framing, etc. usually makes a house look smaller but for some reason it is making your house look huge! So happy it's coming together, and you have such an amazing support system of friends and family.
This video (in conjunction with all your videos) is so inspiring. I’ve been a long time viewer and your videos bring such a sense of community, hard work, and simple joy. I will watch as long as you and Barron continue to feel called to be here on UA-cam. Ps- sorry about Covid. It took me 3-4 weeks before I felt like a normal human again but you’ll get there! Pss- y’all are probably SO physically fit from this project 😂
Idk if either Elsa or Barron would see this but you guys GOT THIS! :) Covid can suck the BIG one to some people , I know the thing that knocked me down HARD was the fever part… But try to stay in a dark/cool area wherever you can, plus something that helped get over sooner was pedialyte & bone broth, you may not be able to taste it but it helped ALOT! Feel better soon!
We made it so far after the onset of COVID, but all got sick with it for the first time last week. We have a little one, so Pedialyte was on-hand, and it's been coming in clutch.
Barron, you are the man! Elsa, you are on heck of a woman! Hats off to you for your contribution to the build. Your dad is not too bad either. Heal up now!

So basically the help that came to build the house brought covid too. #thanksforsharing I too have not gotten covid for about 3 years caught it 2 months ago. What a wrecker of all things wonderful. I felt like a truck ran me over & back up & ran me over again. 14 days of complete misery & sickness. I’m so glad you all are coming to the end of the virus.
It’s amazing how far you’ve come not only in building your home but in gaining the experience and knowledge along the way. Never say never to what you can do and achieve. And please get better. Looking forward to the next time I see you both. Aloha 🌺

I tested positive today for covid after a beautiful weekend in the Pocono Mountains. Today has been a seriously crappy day. This video was a definite bright spot. Hope you both continue to feel better! ✌🏻❤☀️

The build looks absolutely amazing. I love that you are showing all of the details. Hope you both feel better quite soon. I had Covid in July while backpacking at RMNP. The ER doc in Granby told me the best thing to do was to go back out on trail in the backcountry and stay away from my family and others, so I did that for the next 5 days and felt like total crap while doing the CDT loop. My daughter and husband just had it the past two weeks. Luckily, their version seemed milder, but the cough and congestion goes on and on and on. We are sending healing vibes and hoping all your friends recover quickly too. Much love and respect to you both.
I work at a doctors surgery and had a ‘heated discussion’ today with a patient told me COVID is just a cold, I had it at Easter and it was not a cold - I was in bed for about 10 days, so I feel you and want you to know you will feel a bit better every day 😊
I’m sorry you had it so hard after getting covid but I’m glad that you confirmed that covid isn’t like a common cold - it’s worse. I’m glad you are better. Peace.
It‘s covid because the test looks for it. If you did an influenza test, it’s very possible to test positive as well. Covid is the new influenza, because latter disappeared completely since the NKOTB appeared.
I had covid19, did not get a tempreture, lost taste and smell, no other issues, depends how much inflammation is in your body, my wife had a roaring fever for 7 days, I had vitamins C, D3 and Zinc plus Vitamin I. She got a lot more antibodies while I only got a few when tested.
I was riveted to see the intensity with which every member of the team working on this build “kicked ass” in their own way. WOW. May everyone who contracted the virus continue to regain strength and healing.

We spent most of our time living in our trailer hoboing around the country, but landed in an off beat part of Vermont, thinking we'd be "away" from it, but all no! Glad you guys are on the mend! Your home is taking shape. You guys are such a hard working couple, also your friends. So sorry to hear that you two have COVID. It is terrible, I had it for 3 weeks. With side effects lasting longer. Try to rest when you can.
I've had Covid twice. Both times I barely got a sniffle. I daily take Vitamin C, D, Zinc and Elderberry. And when I get any type of virus, I take Echinacea for two weeks. Always helps me and I haven't had a cold since January of 2019. Hope all of you are feeling better now! And GREAT FREAKING JOB on the house guys!

I've had Covid twice. Both times I barely got a sniffle. I daily take Vitamin C, D, Zinc and Elderberry. And when I get any type of virus, I take Echinacea for two weeks. Always helps me and I haven't had a cold since January of 2019. Hope all of you are feeling better now! And GREAT FREAKING JOB on the house guys!

My husband is currently trying to kick Covid. The nurse gave him a list of things to be taking: Zinc, Vit.C, B12 and D3. She also said drink Bone broth and Gatorade Zero (or G2). I'm sure you know all this but I thought I'd mention it anyway

You and Barron and the entire team are doing a magnificent job! That view - omg! I avoided COVID for 2 years and it got me this summer - knocked me completely out for about 13 days. Took me some time to get my stamina back - about a month and a half. Great video - thanks for sharing!

So sorry to hear you have covid, it isnt nice at all is it. I had it about 3 months ago and it makes you feel awful and takes awhile to get over it, so rest up.
