Hi Melissa! So many empties...that's great!! 🤗 I've been working on using up some of my oldies, too. It's sad to see them go because I always end up missing them! But hopefully, some will come back around 🤗❤
This was very interesting! Loved seeing some of the older scents. If I did an empties video, I feel like mine would be totally opposite - mostly body care and only a few hand soaps. I feel like it takes my husband & I forever to use up the hand soaps even though I feel like I wash my hands 100 times a day. 🤣 I go through a body lotion or cream about every 3 weeks by myself though. Same with body wash and hand cream.
I would love to see Iced Cinnamon Rolls in body care too. That orange makes all the difference! 🧡 Thanks for the video!
Oh yeah! It's interesting to see the differences in what products people use up the most! This season was better than usual for me in the body care department, but normally body care is slow for me since I rotate between so many different ones frequently. Back when I was first getting into body care routines, I would just have one scent per season and stuff got emptied a lot faster that way! 😅 Agreed in Iced Cinnamon Rolls all the way! 🍊

Hahaha thankfully that didn't happen to me with that one, but I've definitely gotten some fabuloso vibes from a scent before. I just can't remember which one that was anymore! 😂
It’s just my husband and I and when we are working a lot and not home it can take forever to finish up our hand soaps!

I love your necklace! Where did you get that? It’s so cute! It’s funny you mention that about the crushed candy cane wallflower bulb, because I have a crushed candy cane single wick candle that smells great in the jar, but does not have a good smell at all when you burn it. I love it in the hand soap but honestly smells terrible in the candle form 😕

Yeah, what's going on with the Crushed Candy Cane anyways?! 😫 Love the hand soap, and I had a good experience with it in a 3-wick candle but geesh I think I'll stay clear of the wallflowers. I love Twisted Peppermint so I think I'll just prioritize that one instead when it comes to peppermint. 🍬
Yay, empties! 🚮♻ I'm thinking that they actually had in-shower body moisturizer back in the early 00s and I had Coconut Lime Verbena. I could be remembering wrong.
I wish they would have a featured ingredient collection again! Why were they so much more creative back then?
Ooh you're probably right about the shower moisturizer. I'd love to have a Coconut Lime Verbena in-shower lotion! I know they made one specifically for the Coconut Coco Shea line and I really enjoyed using it! 🥥
I know what you mean, I feel like they used to have more fun and tried new things more frequently back then!
Do you find that the scent changes much after all those years? Don't they expire?
Surprisingly, I've had very good luck with my older body care items lasting a long time. As I mentioned in this video, a couple of the travel size lotions started to get an "old lotion" scent, but not bad enough that I could just rush finish them up. I keep them in a cool dry closet I'm the finished basement so I think that helps preserve them better than if they were consistently in the bathroom or a warmer spot in the house.
If you love the packaging I wouldn’t throw it away I have hand soaps that I wipe down and refill with the cartons 😊 the new packaging is so boring compared to all the graphics they used to use
That's a good idea, and agreed, more of the packaging they've been making recently are not my style. I'm super over with the plain/overpriced faceted and beveled bottles. What I do with my old favorite packaged bottles is peel the stickers off and put them in my scent scrapbook along with some captions about the scent/when I bought or used it! 💞
