If anyone is still mulling over on how they can get a grasp or at least draw the anatomy of a character in the FPE style, you have to implement recognizable shapes, which explains why the FPE artstyle is very distinct, not because of the lineart, but due to the shapes that make up the body, being similar to that of how people draw cartoons. For example, female characters have uh, triangles, or the limbs are basically cylinders or elongated triangles.

just saying that black lineart can look completely fine in some drawings, it doesnt always make the drawings look bad, but in the FPE style kaaatie uses blue lineart to make it into a more "specific" color palette! (I think)

Also if u struggle with digital art you can draw it in real life first and trace it if your really struggling but if your trying to get better at digital art then don’t but just it tip if you end up struggling with this

You got it right with the elements thing, always get a reference or make something my mind if you want
