I think that Joe Budden is resentful towards the rap industry and that shows in the way that he feels about rappers having relationships with other rappers. It’s a part of me that truly believes that he’s envious of these relationships and wish that he could have one of those when he was rapping

It's not a gem, when people say "such and such" giving out gems. It means the person is giving out information that anybody can take and apply it to life. That was just a clever little joke, which to me wasn't even close to as funny as most of his clever jokes.
