- To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the First Vision, President Russell M. Nelson shares “The Restoration of the Fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: A Bicentennial Proclamation to the World” at the Sacred Grove in Palmyra, New York-the site where God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith.
I know Jesus Christ works through His senior apostle of our day, President Nelson.
I also testify of the Savior's gospel. One day in 2020, I got a bag with an invitation to a virtual Youth Conference. I participated and I learned a lot. The Conference was on the 30th and 31st of July. On August 1st, I prayed ro God and asked Him to make me a better person. After that, God transformed me and helped me make better choices. Through reading the scriptures, God taught me how much God loves me and that he cares about me. I also learned about having joy and got to get to know God. In the month of August 2020, I turned into a better version fo myself that I never expected. All I did was say a simple prayer, and it changed the course of my entire life.
❤ Thank you for posting this! I add my testimony to it's truthfulness. (There's one error in the captions at 2:38. It should read "atoning".)
I pray that more Mormons would read the bible and read the book of Mormon and look at the contradictions between the two. And look into the beginning life of Joseph Smith and the things he did !!!
I have…and have joined the “church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints”
I couldn’t be happier 🎉🎉🎉
@preble1980 it doesn't matter if it makes you happy. What does god say about it . A theft steals and he feels like it's his . The devil comes as a child of lite seeking out who he may devour like a roaring lion !!
@
lol
Look at it this way
Previously to my discovering the LDS faith
I only had the Bible to rely on
It was so confusing to see 100 different faiths using the same Bible and teaching different aspects of its teachings
Then I came across the Book of Mormon
I read the book of Mormon. I prayed about the book of Mormon and I obtained a logical and spiritual conversion to its authenticity.
By concluding that the book of Mormon was the word of God, I was able to easily discern that all the other religions on the Earth did not use the Book of Mormon and therefore, there was no need to look any further
Simply put “the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints” is the only church on the planet that uses the Book of Mormon
I found the Book of Mormon to be true, without a doubt
Therefore, the decision is easy… Join the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints… And receiving an ever increasing daily dose of happiness
@preble1980 it's a 200 year old religion made up by a 14 year old kid who was raised by a freemason. His first vision was the professors of his day are corrupt and the creeds are an abomination. I know everywhere professors can be corrupt but I know for a fact gods word isn't an abomination. Plus paul talks exactly about that in his letter to the galatians 1 that hole book .
@preble1980 are you going to become a god of your own planet one day as long as you live a perfect life. Like christ ?
MORMONS MISINTERPRETATION OF EZEKIEL 37 "STICK OF JOSEPH AND STICK OF JUDAH."
You assume that the "Stick of Judah" is the Bible, while the "Stick of Joseph" is the Book of Mormon. In the latter days, the two have been joined together, forming the bulk of Mormon scripture. Mormonism's literal interpretation of scripture does not extend to hundreds of passages it rejects as corrupted or that it skews to suit its own purposes. In the case of Ezekiel 37, Mormons not only neglect the plain sense of the words, but also ignore there true interpretation, given by God-in the very same chapter. First, the Hebrew term translated as "stick" (aits) is never use anywhere in the Old Testament to mean "Book," "scroll", "writing", or anything similar. It is variously translated as "wood", or "branch", "timber", or "tree."
Needless to say, the Book of Mormon allegedly written on metal plates, not scrolls or sticks.
Second, the correct interpretation of this symbolic action of the prophet is given just a few verses later. Ezekiel is to take the two sticks, put them end to end and hold the joined ends in his hand. He thus displays to the people a "single" stick, once again united. This is to show that the scattered remnants of the southern kingdom ("Judah ") and northern kingdom of Israel ("Joseph") will be returned from exile, restored to their land, and made one nation again.
"They shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all" (Ezekiel 37:22). With Divine impetus, Ezekiel first spoke of this parable of redemption then enacted it. Only Mormonism can manage to mistake "timber" for "scrolls" and "nations" for "metal plates."
As the text makes clear, this is a prophecy of national reunification, not about the appearance of hidden scriptures.
Only the meek and lowly in heart will receive the things of God. Carefully re- examine your motives.
@Fred-mp1vf
You...who is mentally and spiritually unbalance making unqualified remarks about someone you don't know.
Your so-called acessements is based on your lifetime of being BRAINWASHED by the Mormon church that has robbed you of your ability to distinguish between good and evil, truth and lies. You been programmed to replace the truth with insults, evasion, redirection, avoidance, talking in circles, tap-dancing around questions, answering questions with questions to avoid admitting that there is no Biblical and academic evidence to support anything in Mormonism.
What a sad narrow life you live in Mormonism.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROPHETS OF THE BIBLE AND MORMON PROPHETS.
Mormons prophets cannot make changes to doctrine that God already established.
For example:
*The Divine Nature of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (the Trinity)
*The Deity of Jesus Christ (God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity)
*The Biblical definition of the Virgin Birth of Jesus
*Being saved by grace through faith, not of works
*God did not sent any angel from heaven to Joseph Smith (GALATIANS 1:6-9)
*Mormons cannot be god's (Isaiah 43:10 & 45:5)
*God had NOTHING to do with a Mormon curse on all Blacks.
The definition that is used by the “Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints” for the Godhead is the same that was used before the Nicene creed was enacted
God, the father is a separate and distinct being from his son Jesus Christ
Both the father and the son have immortal bodies and can only be in one place at one time
The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead, which conveys their will to all humanity
Evidence of this can be found when Jesus pleaded in the garden with his father in heaven
Jesus said “not mine will be done, but thy will be done”
Demonstrating 2 distinct individuals
I used to be on the outside, throwing rocks at the Mormons
Now I’m on the inside, defending the faith that I love and have adopted
@preble1980 Let's talk about BIBLICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE TRINITY.
First, in order for you to understand the Biblical evidence for the TRINITY, you must first stop trying to "put God in a box..." God's Divine existence is BEYOND human understanding and the physical limitations of this world. Let's hear what God Himself says about this in:
I TIMOTHY 3:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
A. God was manifested in the flesh,
B. Justified in the Spirit,
C. Seen by angels,
D. Preached among the Gentiles,
E. Believed on in the world,
F. Received up in glory.
Notice "A" where it says: "God was manifested in the flesh.
As you can read, God's Divinity is limitless and beyond human understanding.
Next, let's go to:
ISAIAH 45:5
"I am the Lord, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me..."
Keep this verse in mind, because we are going to circle back to this in a little bit.
We are going to show the Divine identity of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
GOD: We have God identifying Himself to Moses in:
EXODUS 3:14
And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you..."
We have God identifying Himself as the "I AM."
JOHN 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..."
We have God identified as the "Word."
JESUS: We have Jesus identifying Himself in:
JOHN 8:58
And Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM..."
We have Jesus identifying Himself as the "I AM" the same title God used in Exodus 3:14.
JOHN 1:14
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth..."
We have Jesus identified as the "Word" the same title God used in John 1:1.
I TIMOTHY 3:16.
"...God was manifested in the flesh..."
HOLY SPIRIT: We have Peter talking to Ananias in:
ACTS 5:3-4
But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit (notice that he said that you are lying to the Holy Spirit) and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God..."
We have the Holy Spirit recognized as being God!
We have God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all recognized as being God.
Let's circle back to ISAIAH 45:5 where it says: "There is no God besides Me..." With this verse, we either have complete Kaos here, or, since God says that He is "not the author of confusion..." (I Corinthians 14:33). We can confidently conclude that the only explanation for this is:
"TRINITY"
But wait, there's more Biblical evidence for the TRINITY, let's go to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We have God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all at the Resurrection of Jesus.
GOD: We have God raising Jesus from the dead.
*Acts 3:26
*I THESSALONIANS 1:10
*Acts 17:31
JESUS: We have Jesus raising Himself from the dead.
*John 2:19-21
HOLY SPIRIT: We have Jesus raising Himself from the dead.
*Romans 8:11
We have God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all at the Resurrection raising Jesus from the dead!
There you are, BIBLICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE TRINITY.
Hi Albert. I remember you from other threads. Your trolling is futile. Keep kicking against the pricks.
Also stop using AI to write your content. It doesn’t really make any sense.
@jareds561
Well, the Biblical and academic evidence provided says otherwise.
@@AlbertJLouiebrother. I don’t understand how you seem to be compelled to keep trolling Latterday Saint media. If I didn’t know any better, I think you’re actually interested deep down. It draws you to see that the movement God initiated with Joseph Smith keeps growing despite incredible persecution and slander.
Time to stop being Saul and the Lord will restore your sight so you can see the truth. Best wishes to you and God bless!
