sounds good! you can get some really interesting tones with that thing:) as for pedals, i recently got my hands on a " two notes le bass preamp" . this thing is awesome! it really gives a nice warm tube sound especially when distorted...
Awesome demo, jonny. \m/ This multi-effects processor has some pretty good patch. my personal favorites are od bass, power bass, bass disotrtion, and bass chorus.
@@JonnyDibble That's true. usually with a few adjustments, it will sound better. however in the case of this multi-effects processor, the presets sounded pretty good.
@@JonnyDibble If you can It will be awesome!. Imagine a pedal board made from a hacked keyboard or Arduino micro controller giving you access to an extended stomp mode for all the effects and maybe more!
Great video: no words but tons of sounds. Did you try to switch on/off some fx (in stomp mode) on the go? I mean, is this Valeton good to play live? Thank you in advance!!
Thanks! In my initial review I cover more on those type of features, this one is mainly just going through the presents 😊 I really like this pedal and think it would perform well live! Shame is has no DI out though
@@JonnyDibble I'm going to watch your review. I'd like to have a "Swiss knife" on my pedal board for those sounds you usually don't experiment with. Just to have fun, or compose and record different solutions for a song. And, why not, playing live
@@JonnyDibble Thanks for that reply. Was considering the price difference and how that GP100 could work with Electric guitars as well. I suppose the GP100 could do the trick as well for bass? I’m just looking for that extra tone punch, some reverbs, drive, and sometimes delays. GP100 is well capable of that?
@@JonnyDibble I've most them all recently, and figured I'd take the plunge into possibly getting one. I was just trying to decide between this or the GP. When you're on a strict budget, it makes you really think to which to get, if that makes sense? Haha
@@JonnyDibble Hey again, so thanks to you I am now a proud owner of the GP 100, and it is amazing! Only problem is the I bought didn't come with any instructions and the manual online isn't very helpful. How do I use the tuner? I'm pressing down the 2 stomps for the tuner but it only brings up the looper? Any ideas?
Am i the only one getting horrible buzzing noises on some of the cab sims (when i play the 12th fret on the E string for example)? If anyone else has this issue pls help...
The cleans are very, very usable. Those distortions, though... Everything except the fuzz sounded WAY tinny to my ears. Idk. Not sold. But then again, digital distortion sims are notoriously not great
The distortions do cut a bit of low end out meaning you have to crank them a bit more to compensate which isn't ideal. Luckily it ony takes small eq tweaks to get the presets sounding how I'd like them to! 😊
@@JonnyDibble ah yeah fair! I also noticed after posting the comment that the low end was only in my left earbud, so when I was just using my right it seemed worse than it was. Do think that with a sansamp after it the distortion presets could be more than usable - been using that trick to liven up my vox stomplab IIB, works wonders to thicken and liven up crackly distortions. Overall
Bro you didn't need any tape just wear your covid mask serve the same purpose ROFL! However some great bass tones in that nifty little unit and some very nice playing!
They're actually all good...Sweet! Love the distorted tones!
So impressive for the price point!

It's cool! Only takes slight tweaks to get them to fit my tastes. Oh man jealous! Heard they're awesome 👌
The suspense! Aaaaaaaahhhhhh! Why do I have to wait 95 minutes? Oh well. I preemptively hit 'like' because I know it is gonna be good.
Gotta hit that prime upload time 🤪 You sir, are a real gent.
Top science there. That looked exhausting!
Played back to back for far too long 😆

Thanks very much! Presets are normally pretty bad on these kinds of units so I was pleasantly surprised when they were good! 😍

not tested octave and envelope filter :(
thanks for demos! Did you record directly from the GP100 or with an external interface?
This vs the fender downtown, which one to buy?
Thanks for the demo. Can you turn the effects on and off in the software with keyboard shortcuts instead of clicking with the mouse?
No worries! Ooh great question, I'm not sure! I'll investigate

I came here looking an answer like that too! I would love to see it done on iPad (if that is possible)
I'm thinking about getting one of these or a preamp for bass, I play online, which do you think I'm better?

Not sure if you’d answer. But im torn between this and Zoom B2 four. Which would you prefer?
Gotta be the Zoom I reckon. I had a B3 not toooo long ago and it was great

This or the Dapper?
This. Loads more for your money and a bit better sounding in my opinion 😊
@@JonnyDibble Thanks for replying, is it easy to change settings of the pre sets without the use of a computer?

So Johnny would you say if i could grab one of these fpr 130 bucks US it would be a good pedal to test these IR waters out??
Yeah totally! You can load in custom IRs so this wpuld be a great unit to dip your toes in the water 😊
