Good video. While I don't personally think sponsorships are terrible, I think it comes down to true transparency. That's what this space is lacking concerning the degree of information that is coming from many different channels accepting them. To compliment even further what you said in your video, the problem is people watch a video and they take that information as a green light to jump into a project and aren't even aware that the UA-camr was paid for delivering the content. That UA-camr (I don't know for sure so it's speculation) likely had no interest in the project beyond getting paid for it yet the audience has now been influenced by the content not understanding why it truly ended up on on the channel in the first place. Now don't get me wrong, there are UA-camrs that absolutely state that that the content is sponsored. However, in my personal opinion, I think you need to go beyond that so that the audience knows "exactly" what made it a sponsored video on the channel. Even for me at just over 250 subscribers and I've only been on UA-cam for 8 months, I've been approached by projects too and after I share with them that while I will accept doing a sponsored video, I will not shill their token, I will not show people how to buy their token, I will not state that it's going to be the next 10x, 100x, 1000x coin and that I will give my honest opinion about it including any issues / red flags that I see and that they will not get to review the video before I release it... no one at that point wants a sponsored review video which is quite telling. I say that it's quite telling because it seems many projects (not all of them of course) that want to approach you with dollars to talk about their project just want you to say what they want you to say and that is not how I roll at all. As you said... REPUTATION matters and so does my audience. With that said, I know this was a long comment but it sums up my thoughts on this. Thank you for your insightful and informative video. One of my subscribers / Twitter followers had shared it with me and I wanted to come back here and leave a comment on your channel as well. Keep up the good work ! Content like this matters, transparency matters and we all have to work together to do better to clean up this space.

As well for you, continue to do what you're doing informing people about what they may not be aware of due to.. "in various instances" the lack of transparency that exists. Thank you for utilizing your platform to shed some light on what you are addressing on your channel. With that said, we need more crypto UA-camrs like you. While I may not have nearly the amount of subscribers you do, I recognize the "standard" we need in crypto and your channel deserves to be in that conversation. I agree with don't listen to youtubers for which tokens and coins to buy. I agree that it is slimey to not say that you gained from advertising. But I still think a watcher is responsible when they decide to purchase something with out researching themselves. I will think about this heavily on what the wrong way to do youtube over cryptos, the right way, and the blurry middle.
People aren't as stupid as UA-camrs are making them out to be. No one is putting any significant money into a coin long term because someone made a 7 minute video on it
For one 7 min video, I agree. But if multiple shillers start talking about a particular coin at the same time, they can pump up a coin significantly (after they've bought it, or been given it of course)
Wes - if you are so much into stopping this, you could reach out to other youtubers and find a way to expose the projects paying to talk their coins. It is not impossible to do more, and the WHOLE crypto community would become better. DO NOT think regulations are coming soon, we are FAR from it.
