Oh I'm With You! I don't deal with the cold like I use to! I've had the tent out a couple times now since I shot the unboxing video and so far, I LOVE IT!
Awesome! I shot a wild camping video about it last weekend. I'll be filming a set-up tear-down and review video in the near future. I've spent two weekends in it since the unboxing. Trying to get a feel for it. So far, I Love It!

Looks like its decently made and its good that it can be configured differently. The 70D nylon should hold up under good conditions but I wouldn't recommend setting up in a snowstorm or something. I understand a company wants to advertise, but this is ridiculous- small logo is fine but not a billboard. It will be interesting to see how the set-up goes and do a video for the stove your going to use. Im assuming your going to be using like the old small Army Yukon stoves. Them little stoves put some heat out in them GP Medium tents out in the field up in Alaska. Thanks for the info on this and you be safe out there-
I've spent two weekends in it since the unboxing. Trying to get a feel for it. So far, I Love It! I shot a wild camp video last weekend. I'll be filming a set-up tear-down and review video in the near future. The stove I have is the Danchel Outdoors CS6 Large Wood Stove. So far, It's working great! The unboxing video for it will air Friday. I can't remember the nomenclature of the stove we used in the GP Medium. It was fuel drip stove and was very finicky. If you were half way down the tent from it, it was cold. But then again, we rarely used the winterization liner in it. Thanks for your service!
The Yukon was designed for GP small tents I think and the stove your referring to in the GP mediums was that round pot belly that you put the upside down fuel tank next to on a drip-? Like that wasnt dangerous back then? I was never looking forward to setting up the GP mediums with the arctic liner because they weighed a ton and if the canvas froze, good luck trying to fold it. Look forward to checking this stove vid out-@@boonedockery7220

Looks like a nice bit of gear. Mind ya, Gortex has a waterproof rating of 28,000, so, what was the tent, 2000? Hmmm that doesn't sound too promising in wet conditions tho. Looking forward the stove review.
Definitely interested in how well this performs. As i get older the weather seems to get colder. Despite being the same temperature.😁

Way to go Brother John. Hot tent. Looking good. Just waiting to see the new stove and also see how you adapt it to your hammock setup.

'Belt and Suspenders': Good idea! Trees don't position themselves for our convenience.
HAHAHAHA!!!!! I've camped in a few spots that by the time I found the right pair of trees I was 50 yards away from where I originally wanted to camp!
happy new year my field looks good, cant to hear about you and the tent.
Happy new year to you too!!!!! Spoiler Alert! I've had it out a couple times now and I LOVE IT!!!!
I can't wait to see the set-up of this tent with the wood burner... looks like just the thing for a long, cold night!

Perhaps a field test of the equipment where you set it up and hose it down from the top with a water hose
