    Nice presentation, full of useful information for further study. Really enjoyed the information about the Platonic Bodies which is not a part of most ( if not all) standard practice in the U.S. Holy Royal Arch system. Thanks so much!

      Thanks for the feedback. Australia is very similar to the UK in the HRA, so a lot of this content was familiar. Interesting to hear that the US differs. Glad you got something out if it!

    10 is the Greek Tetractys which is now the Hebrew Tetragrammaton. Shows the ratios of Musical harmony which is evidence of a higher order.

      Glad you liked it. Castells is a really thoughtful and fascinating writer.

    Really good, many thanks.
    I have to refute your scholarly assertion that knowledge of the relationship between Tau and T is modern. The early Masons were adorning "AT" to mean alpha omega, and on a chi rho where alpha omega is always found, as early as 1609. Indeed anyone playing with Latin, Greek and Hebrew gematria with any intent would have difficulty in avoiding it. I don't doubt literary scholars didn't get their hands on hard, one hit evidence till much later, but the 17th century Hermeticists knew that T=Tau=Omega. And I can prove it.

      Thanks for that. Yes, De Castells is notorious for playing 'fast and loose' with facts where they don't fit his narrative. But he's a hugely entertaining writer if you don't take him too seriously 😁

    It helps to look at linguistics (although it doesn't solve it to look at the history of linguistics so don't expect satisfaction)... Tav, Taw, is Hebrew -> Phoenician (where it looks like an X) -> Proto-Siniatic (looks like an +, The plus sign) -> Hieroglyphics which is the oldest in Ancient Egypt, where it looks like an X again like the Phoenician. In Hebrew it starts looking more like a T. There is also the "Sampi" letter in Greek Ionian that is archaic and disappeared from history (here it is: Ͳ). In any case, none of what I just said has to make any sense because the thing about hidden logo-like symbols is that they have hidden meanings. It may mean something else. It may be a combination of letters in different orientations or rotations. Why the flipping upside down etc. It may represent hierarchy for all we know which is often triangular symbolically, in the sense that the letter is not actually a letter but a shape in geometry or a puzzle piece to be inserted into other bigger puzzles or patterns (obviously I am speculating here so grain of salt required). Of course the more simpler explanation is trinity or St. Anthony's Tau cross.

      Thanks for the insight. There are a lot of esoteric interpretations I've read that I haven't got around to publishing yet - maybe one day.

      @@FromtheQuarries Sounds awesome. I like going into a lot of competing theories for origins and truly explore the mysteries. Keeping the mystery in tact because I can't claim that I know since I wasn't living those times when they created it. It's nearly impossible to know and keeping that humility of the mystery helps.

      If it was easy to solve, I suspect they would have written it in plain English or Latin.

      The reason for the tau is more qabalistic. Look up the definition and numerical value of the letter.

    • @bx3556
      @bx3556 Рік тому

      @@ramon2008 That don't make any sense. The thing about numerology is you can see numbers in everything so you can't say "yes that comes from that" because numbers are hard to trace. The T is a letter because it's not meant to be a number. What's hidden is the represented meaning, not the number.

    Good video except that the triangle shown when mentioning the equilateral triangle is in fact not an equilateral triangle.

    Tau is Greek while Taw is Hebrew. T is the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet and 20th in English alphabet and 22nd in Hebrew. T-virus from Resident Evil brings the "dead" back to life in Racoon/coRona city.

    So what about the dead sea scrolls they are written with the tau as in modern hebrew

    • @FromtheQuarries
      @FromtheQuarries  2 роки тому +3

      That's a really good point, but don't forget that this extract was written 20 years before the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered! Also, the Mesha Stele he refers to here dates to the second half of the ninth century BCE, where the Dead Sea scrolls are first and second century BCE, so I think his argument about changes to the Tau's format still stands.
