The Britishers made the slavery seed of the slogan ‘India is largely and majority Agriculture owned country’. The Congress and Communists keep on trying to preserve that slogan and making sure generations after generations forced to spend their lives in Agriculture. an escrow account for contract farming payments has been on the cards for over a decade . an account in which a contractor places an amount and is open to negotiation upto 2 weeks prior to harvesting , if the farmer finds a better price , he sell elsewhere , if not it goes to the original contractor. but the escrow is binding on the contractor and the account manager disburses in accordance with the amount delivered in case of a poor yield . and none if there is total crop wipeout .
the ordinance was a period of demonstration to show small landholders how they stood to gain . there are documents that show how their incomes increased dramatically at the cost of the adthiya dirven APMC mechanism, so for the pro APMC protesting crowd this was a clear demonstration of things to come, at first they failed to notice and then broke into a cold sweat and went berserk. for them it is do or die . the government is patiently waiting for them to adapt or face the inevitable, as numerically the small landholders outnumber the APMC types as mentioned in this talk.

Phew 🙄crazy. As a teacher i see young children talking crap about modijee all the time. I have to tell em that ...becoming anti modi is ok but becoming anti india just to be anti modi is a stupid fashion 🙄
Lets recollect a few points here. Firstly, a mere word of mouth has no legal standing. The govt hasnt agreed to pay MSP at all. MSP isnt charity. MSP is a fair price for all the effort famers put. Its their right. And as Anand said "farmer protest is hatred for Modi", he cant be more wrong. More than half of all those farmers protesting have voted for BJP. Secondly, the farmers to this date already have an option to sell their produce outside the mandi . Thats not something novel in these farm laws. The key-change is the ease of entry for private players. Have we forgotten BSNL, AirIndia and how various entities have been destroyed by govt. Farming in Punjab and Haryana is most prosperous and hence its logical that they will be the first one's to protest. Dont expect a poor farmer from Jharkhand standing up to a govt. Do you ? Thirdly, your so called hatred for pseudos, liberals etc shows a lack of clarity and prejudice. Bringing Khalistan into the whole movement is classic Godi-media styled British-adopted strategy. Fourth, the bill was passed in parliament by "voice-vote". Opposition asked for proper electronic voting/counting. Do we even recollect it? Eventually the bill was passed unfairly (almost like a cheat). I suggest we go back and watch the rajya sabha recordings. I don't completely agree with all the points that the farm protestors have raised, but rejecting them completely as mere hooligans is soo naive and demeaning. While they might be stubborn and adamant in their demands, the govt hasn't been any less either.
Well i think you should rather read the farm law reforms,as far as msp is concerned it was not law earlier not today,it was just a recommendation to encourage green revolution.
@@sm457225 Thats what the demand is. Make it a law. Why should the farmers continue to bear the brunt. Its time they get their due prices. The farm laws and associated agitation has once again brought to forefront the same demands. These demands existed during UPA as well with similar agitations. So, dont say its against the govt. Its fight for what they believe is right. People seem to have problem suddenly bcoz their beloved Modiji is sitting on the chair. And next time dont tell people to read the farm laws. Dont assume they havent. Come up with a better argument.
None of these people are farmers. So, they do not understand agricultural issues. MSP does not cost anything to the economy ultimately at all, because the farmers will supply their product in return and the government can sell these to recover the cost plus it can get more money in terms of indirect taxes. Thus, the Government will get back all the money it will spend to maintain MSP. MSP is the guarantee to end the farmer's suicide. Who wants the market system? Farmers want protection provided by the Government. Environmental problem is due to the lack of irrigation, the farmers are forced to get their water from the deep tube-wells. The Government should provide irrigation, flood control, and a water management system. Lack of Government support is the cause of the farmer's problem. The government should construct warehouses and proper distribution of food products. India is one of the countries that suffer from severe malnutrition of the people. Modi is closing the choice as he wants to destroy the existing marketing system, MSP, and introduce contract farming. Contract farming was first introduced in 1835 by the East India Company to promote the cultivation of opium and indigo, which had made Indian farmers paupers. Modi also will not allow the farmers to go to the courts. The average monthly incomes of the farmers in Punjab and Haryana are Rs 18000 and Rs 16000 respectively because they have MSP. In Bihar and West Bengal, these are Rs 3600 and Rs 3800 as they have no MSP. Only 6 percent of the farmers of India get the MSP because most of the states have no money to implement MSP for their farmers, particularly after the introduction of the GST again on the advice of the IMF-World Bank-WTO. There will be no suicide of the farmers if 100 percent of the farmers receive MSP.
You are not a farmer either and no one has said that MSP will be abolished. It just gives the choice to the farmer to sell in the Mandi with MSP or sell it out side to any one else. So stop spreading lies. MSP costs a lot to the government since they are buying grains at unrealistically high price from the farmer through the middleman who is the main beneficiary. Taking up your arguement of MSP paid to the farmer will eventually come back to the economy is pure crap. In that case abolish all taxes because the tax money that you did not pay will finally find its way back to the economy when you buy things in the market. How do you then propose to run the government without taxes? How is the financing of schools, roads, army, health care etc going to be done without taxes. You see how flawed your arguement is. Remember this was a farm bill supported by all opposition parties who later turned around to topple Modi but India is more than Modi and it is not going to stand for stupidity or foreign interference. You mention building of irrigation canals to sort out water shortage and you think it is a cheap project, just build canals. What about the environmental impact from all the dams and canals? Punjab is going to be turned in to desert if they continue to extract ground water at the rate they are doing now. Alternative farming of less water intensive crop is the way to go. All agriculture experts agree on this one. The farmers in Punjab are being mislead by the opposition parties whose agenda is to topple Modi's government based on lies, misinformation, by using farmers as their weapon.
@@Raj-nh3fc Farmers will give their products in return for MSP, thus it is not a charity. FCI can pay directly to the farmers. Modi is now destroying Indian agriculture for the sake of his Gujarati friends.
@@prof.dr.4224 MSP at inflated rates is the correct price plus charity. Charity to whom? To the non producing greedy middleman. This is the tax money collected from all Indians. It is not the private property of Punjabi middle man that is being wasted. The government has already decided to put the MSP money in the account of the real farmer so that the middle man is bypassed and that hurts! One more reason for the protest to continue under the guise of farmers protest fanned by the opposition. The fact that the government has decided to pay MSP directly to the farmer means MSP is here to stay. Is it so difficult to understand. Private buyers along with government supported MSP give not only choice to the farmer but offer better security to the farmer. When the market prices are high sell it to the private buyer and when the market prices are low sell it to the Mandi. It is a win win situation for the poor farmer. So why should he commit suicide? Finally this is not a pan India phenomenon so please stop saying all India to make your point stronger. This is a Punjabi and parts of near by states phenomenon that is fanned by the coward opposition who can not win any election but is prepared to create chaos. What do they hope to gain from it?
