- July 18th, 2022. While visiting Grand Junction, I got up at 4am before work to experience the most unbelievable small stream fly fishing on the largest flattop mountain in the world.

Great video!! What knot do you prefer for tippet to level and tippet to fly? Thanks!
Thank you! For tippet to line I use a slip knot with double loop like in this video ua-cam.com/video/M0q1brKGHbM/v-deo.html. It works great for me. For tippet to fly I use just a standard clinch knot. It has failed me only once so far, but I think I didn't tie it well.
@@zisontheriver thanks!! I've been using clinch with a tippet ring. I've had it fail a few times so I'm going to try this. 🍻
@@dkbmxr18 In my experience the tippet breaks off easier with a tippet ring.
@@zisontheriver I just re-did my level line collection. I took a closer look at the rings and they do have a sharper edge to them. Will hit the water again tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks again!
