- After making the first three videos in my Introduction to Reading Rhythms series, I felt that I needed a nice capstone video to tie it all together- so here it is!

Video: Nathan Walby
Composer: Nathan Walby
Performers: Computer (with the help of Nathan Walby)
I remember watching this when I was little... Time flies away to fast!
I know.. this is my childhood
these "introduction to rhythm reading" videos are the most accessible to teach my 6 year old elementary music. i found out her school dosnt have an elementary music program and started looking for resourses. Kodaly counting system is wildly helpful.
I teach elementary music at a school that had no music teacher for 4 years. Your videos are a God send
These exercises really helped me a lot because tomorrow, I have exam of music and I have to learn this notes and first it was difficult and I almost gave up! But then, I saw this super videos and I didn't take a look behind me. I just continued doing it! And I think now I am prepared for my music exam!
In fact, the music you put while practice is really good 👍 Thanks a lot about your good job and your pleasure to post this on UA-cam.
Thanks again!
I just wanted to thank you for the time you have put in making all this videos. I have dyslexia and have been really struggling to master these concepts for my music associates, so I've been dedicating my Christmas break to preparing for my spring courses and your videos have been a fun and extremely helpful way for me to visualize and hear the beats and melodies. I know that as I continue to practice these videos I'll be better prepared for gradation. Thank you again sir and may God bless you!

I also agree!! Nice music...❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰
Like si te lo dio tu profe de música en cuarentena
Si xD
This is really great. I will use Sibelius or musscore to make notes. But how do you do it if you vividly express notes? This is great. I want to ask you what software you use to make notes. Thank you very much
Thanks! I make the videos using some programs in Adobe Creative Cloud (it's a subscription that lets you use a lot of programs). The program I use most is called 'Animate'.
There is also a way to make all this in an easier way, I have a video here called 'The Everything File' and it links to thousands of free pictures (like music notes and piano keys), and you can use these pictures to make your own videos or make slideshows for your music class.
@@VisualMusicalMinds Thank you very much for your reply. It is wonderful. I will go to study it right away
@@VisualMusicalMindsThank you for this information I will gladly check out that video :)❤
How do you make the notes turn red like that when selected? I think you put that into the musical file, but yeah this is cool I wonder how you edit these? This must take a lot of time to edit. ❤❤❤ Also as a special needs girl who's in normal class band, I understand these now. ❤
My music teacher and my friends teaching in school about the music

Could you help me? I'm looking for tutorials to do stuff like yours for my music students. It's difficult to find stuff in French, so I have to make it myself.
Thank you
Thanks for your comment! I use Adobe Animate from the Adobe Creative Cloud to make my videos- but if you're new to all of this, Adobe Animate could be pretty intimidating in the beginning- and I did use a lot of programs before that to gradually get myself into this.
A good way to start is with powerpoint or google slides to make a bunch of pictures, and then drop those pictures into a video editing program like Imovie or Window's Movie Maker, and then to sync the pictures with the music.
To create the music, I use a program called MixCraft 7- it lets me hook up a midi keyboard into my computer and create the music. But there are ton of other ways to create music too- so you'll also want to look into that too.
Over all, it's taken me about 3 years to really get a good grip on things so I can easily create what I want to create, but it's worth it and a lot of fun, and if more people do this, it will eventually change and improve music education around the world. So good luck!
Visual Musical Minds thanks a lot ! It's very generous of you to help me . Keep up your nice work!
@@VisualMusicalMinds Why there's no cards and letters and underscore?
