this is because they made it 204 degrees, i mean come on isnt that abig too extreme. this would have been a buy for me but the super mega wide is too much. im not a fish.
We just got our TG Tracker. Used it in different modes, plus each of the eye covers and without any cover. Can not get rid of the fish eye look, love the look and feel of it but the final images and video is just too hard to accept.., so I will sell it and buy something else.
I am going to the Philippines this coming Monday and when I return I hope the TG Tracker will prove to be outstanding. So far, I do not like the fish eye look on some of my videos but my tour guides Beth and Wilma will be using GoPro3 so they will also upload their videos and we can compare. :-)
HOW do you Switch to Narrower??? I just got one and so fa, am Dissapointed due to the 204 degrees, I never thought it would be this bad... Is there another Lense to purchase to make it clear and No Fisheye at all? -Chris (P.S. I bought off neighbour that received as gift and did not want it...)

Let's in a lot of light and great colour reproduction, very clear imagery and a great day to film on too. I find camera connectible apps aren't that inspiring to be honest Dave, I've tried a few and never really get on with them that well, mainly finding there is too much lag.
The video was pretty clean, not as sharp as I was expecting. The camera seemed to struggle in the beginning with the extreme wide angle, that Jell-O effect was hard to watch. After that the video was pretty good, nice amount of detail, the audio is what I expected, great video Dave.
Bit disappointed to be honest. GoPro is pretty cruddy as well. For those criticising the distortion, it's a POV camera with a huge field of view! You cannot cheat optical physics! Now Dave, since when has 1-2 miles been a "really long walk" & when was an industrial estate & dual carriageway with a traffic jam an "amazing view"? You need to get out more my man!

How do you narrow down the field of view in the settings ? You didn't explain
The footage in the beginning was quite distracting? Does narrowing the field of view lower the video quality?
No the quality stays, there is one section further in and right at the end with field of view changed.
+Geekanoids That wide angle view might have killed it for me.. It's sucks because this looked promising... Maybe I'll wait till the next gen

me and my family going to Disneyland in march.i want to record our trip.is this a good one or should i just invest on a camcorder? thank you.
I have an Olympus em 1 camera and the app is also horrible when using that camera. I don't think there have been any updates since I've owned it.
The app definitely needs some work.

There are three settings in the menu. No choice on bitrate, I think it was around 50-60.

I think it prefers more distance work, otherwise the wide angle is really in your face.

I decided against it, until the car paintwork is not so good.
Actually best to do it when paintwork is new,then if you ever sell,unwrap it and paintwork is in mint condition Dave

Well, I thought the view was amazing, loads of trees, nice countryside, sea in the distance :D
Good camera but absolutely rubbish app called OIshare.
In general unsueable due to app problems!
