'Mantis Loke' Group Exhibition at Arcane Space 7/13/24

ARCANE Space is pleased to present a group exhibition of works by Holden Fuller, EM Graff, and Tony Lombardo III. Mantis Loke is a three person endeavor towards experimentation within territories of painting, sculpture, and installation. In 2024, they exhibited together at the Bombay Beach Biennale along Southern California's Salton Sea.
The Mantis Loke is a wildman life force which arose over a few days of painting in the desert together. The show includes individual works as well as a heavy emphasis on collaborative installation to create the realm of the Mantis Loke. Ancient, primal, mythological, current, fresh, weaving it all together.
The exhibition reflects a combination of abstraction, mixed media, and the language of symbols. The collaboration signals a new development in these artist’s work and their interest in working together. Here, they transpose their painting styles by crossing over each other's work while banding together for the entirety of this project. Mantis Loke will run from July 13th through July 28th with an opening reception on July 13th from 6-10pm.
Together, their work has been included in group exhibitions, such as Form Exhausted Runs True - Stone/Age, Beast It Boyz; Beneath The Paving Stones - Stone/Age, Beast It Boyz; Bombay Beach Biennale 2024; and BEAST/STONE - Kickflip Vol. 2
