Looking forward to more adventures with Mikaela Allenby in whatever timeline she can swim in. Enjoyed this production very much. Kudos to all who make up Avalon Universe. Your dedication to the spirit of Star Trek shines bright for me.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 thank you for the “more Trek” that so many don’t seem to get. Paramount could run five shows and it wouldn’t be enough! Trek all the time!

"Sometimes following orders isn't the right thing to do." Great moral of the story. Love this so much, and everyone did a fantastic job. Excited to see what's next!
I still get a kick out of Allenby's 'Spidy Sense' comment (Spiderman is still a thing in the 23rd Century?) and her daydream of being able to take two Klingon warriors by herself. I like these characters and look forward to their further adventures in USS Excalibur and the tie-in to the other story lines. Well done all.
Thank you! We filmed in 3 state parks. One in Arizona, and two in Oklahoma. And we drove several thousand miles for this one. Filming in Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Arizona.
Another great film! Discovered your channel a few months ago and slowly watching all of them 😀 Bit of a slow start, however loved the storyline and the ending. 😀

Outstanding! Congratulations! Your amazing quality of production and performance is professional film level work. You prove just how good this future world we all know so well can be in the hands of fans. I have the greatest appreciation for your commitment and obvious love of Star Trek. Thank you for giving us all the Avalon Universe. I am a life long fan of the Arthuriad. I am delighted that you use EXCALIBUR, one of the names of the first 14 Constitution Class Starships. And the wonder tie in of AVALON and the Avalon Universe is absolutely refreshing. I look forward to seeing many more episodes from your imaginative studios. A fan
Big, Huge Thank You an using the right Hull Number on EXCALIBUR. So many of the Fan Productions are screwing this up and when I point it out they get Butt Hurt over it.
Good to see this again but what exactly is the difference between these 'Film Fest' versions and the originals (which I love watching btw)... there's a 4 second difference yet the compression / resolution seems the same... what am I missing? Merry Christmas
She is. Originally, we were going to give her the same Tattoo as Chakotay. But the actress, who is Native American suggested the Chippewa bird as the tattoo to make her unique.
This was well done with a decent story. I will be checking out some of the other videos in the Avalon Universe. One minor thing that seemed off to me was at 2:46 when the tricorder is being used but the person using it held it with the screen facing away from them. I don't recall any instance of tricorder use in TOS where someone wasn't watching the screen and operating the controls while doing a scan. If you are trying to locate the source for something you wouldn't be able to pinpoint the source if you couldn't see the screen while moving the tricorder around. I also like the little blooper type moment at 8:21 where one of the points of the Klingon bat'leth came off. :)
Loved the ending, seems the Ferengi are always getting themselves involved with Star Fleet. What happened to the tricorder? The info on it could be analyzed to determine the origin of the device. I really enjoyed the episode, hoping for more
Nice! Good work, guys. Just goes to show how much one can do with a very small budget. Also, the two leads were, shall we say, easy on the yes. My only critique is that the editing could have used a little tightening.
Well... The last Captain didn't even die per se. Ramirez is just missing in the line of duty. So he was referring to Mason and Harris, and just misspoke.
Unfortunately, it came off as fan-fiction and the two characters were the very definition of Mary Sues. The immature LtCmdr couldn't even hold the tricorder the right way. Other than that, it was pretty good production value.
You obviously weren't paying attention. They were not Mary Sues.. It was a PARODY of Mary Sues. The unearned victories the characters had only occurred in their imaginations. But once they were rescued it was shown that they both had useful skills that allowed them to contribute to the crew. With regards to the Tricorder, you are incorrect, she held it exactly the same way Spock did in every episode of the Original Star Trek.
@@gmmeier321 Yes, Nimoy would indeed hold it that way. The compromise I made is while scanning she held it that way, then turned it back to her to look at the scan results.
Hi Everyone! Sorry for having to re-post, the previous version had a glitch that I needed to fix.,

He's meant to be kind of a jokester. But serious when he needs to be.
Thank you again to caste, crew and management for an attractive positive view of the star trek genre. Regards.
Loved seeing Warren Hawk in this one. More of him in future please.
He’ll definitely be back!

I don't get the Ferengi appearance
The whole situation was a Ferengi trap to steal technology from passing ships. In this case, the shuttles that crashed.
