I followed all your directions, and tried to do everything you do - including taking my shoes off (6:04)...nothing worse than working with hot feet! Love what you do, thank you.
Good Morning Rachel from Florida! Loving so much your wonderful weekly challenges! My idea book is happily filling up! So excited that you got to go to the Antique Market!! :)))
great vid, thank you - love the flip idea. But, the market; I'm sure we would all love to see and hear more about it and what you bought and thanks so much for showing us which digis you used Rachel. Really appreciate the time you give us so much 💜💛💜💛💜
Another great video, thank you. I start off thinking I am not in the mood and before you know it I am pulling papers and tearing. You inspire me so much Aussie girl. Hugs.
Isn't it lovely when every now and then you hear chirping birds in the background, almost as if they're chiming in like "Oh yes I like that flap variation. It's one of my favourites". 😆
Also a good way to add a pocket to an existing page. Perhaps tuck one as an extra into a journal for the journal-er to add where they need it....like I think I will do in my journal. Thank you Rachael!
Hi Rachael, God bless you, I heard you sneezing. Well it’s allergy season for sure. Then the itchy eyes and runny nose, ahh Spring! Your window pockets turned out very nice 👍 Hugs!
Love this papers! Woke up with vertigo this morning! It's been years since last time... So finally able to sit without had swimming around and your video was the first that came up! Enjoy you sharing your talent.
I sat down to watch this, thinking-oh look she posted on the weekend. Then you said Challenge and I said:Right! It’s Monday. Next: hold the recliner, Batman , I can craft along!! And do I did. But it takes the poor folk a long time to make glue behave, find appropriate scraps and follow along . Never mind. Wendy posted today, too, I’m sure you know. One lucky woman.
I absolutely love spending time with you. Going slow is just fine, no apologies necessary. I have those days, mostly everyday. I wish my colleges to become half as pretty as yours one day. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😍
After you put glue on the piece of paper for the window, lay it face down on the window. Fold the back piece over the glued paper. Your paper will be in the right position.
I didn’t think you had gone slow at all. Right before I watched your video I had collaged a window envelope and only got one done to your several, lol. I’ve been trying to create a journal using only my artwork, but I find I sooooo love your pretty paper!
So creative and simple I think I am going to try this, wish me luck, I don’t have a lot of cool, paper but I think I can make it work! Thank you being an inspiration!
I finally got a chance to sit down and make one of these tonight! Sometimes I really struggle collaging on an envelope with a window but tonight I did better. I really like how it turned out. Progress!
I love that you are having me use up some of my envelope stash. The added strength makes sure that they will stand up to wear and tear. Now when the mail comes the first thing I look at is the size of the windows on the envelopes. Lol
Love these flips! Making them right along with you today....such fun using up scraps and recycling bits! Looking forward to seeing ur new idea for the envelope flips. Not so many cuppas today....too busy working with Rachel! Xx
Roxy, the beauty of your videos - more than many others - is that you prompt and inspire me to do things. Before I know it, I am across the room digging out some papers and working on a project. 15 minutes ago, I had no plan to go through a quote book and pull out phrases to put on my tags. But here I am! Happily tearing along with you. LOL. Too funny
Hi Rachel! This video came up on my recommended to watch list, so I am a little late coming to the party here. I'm so glad that I watched because your envelopes turned out so beautiful! Your papers are awesome! You have the prettiest scrapes I've ever seen!! In the video you mentioned going to the antique fair and now I'm wondering what great treasures you might have found while you were there because you didn't say. Darn distractions! lol. I hope you have a great day! TFS Rachel. I am Really enjoying watching your videos!
Rachel, I've said it so many times, part of your amazing talent is in choosing -- "auditioning" -- the right papers for both the background and accents. I just love it. And the part I love the most is, I don't have to be all depressed because I can't do it, because YOU do it and put it in a kit. I STILL love your nature tags kit. I really encourage others to purchase it. I printed a bunch last night. And this morning finds me trying to choose between what "pretty papers" to use on what I'm working on now. And I made the ONLY choice I could: I printed out ALL of them. And I made a note to come and watch this video, so what a lucky girl I am this AM. I hope you and all of your family, spread around the world, have a lovely, lovely weekend. I only have two seasons of the Great Australian Bake Off left, and it's by far my favorite of all the countries, including my own. Paul Hollywood is such a jerk. The Aussie judges laugh all the time, and on one of the bakes, the lady, whose name I can never remember, no offense intended, but she came back to the shed (they're smart and don't use a tent), to tell one of the bakers to add lemon. And when one person needs help, the rest come to their aid. I just love it. And then when someone has to go home, they're very emotional (which makes me choke up), and they all say, I will miss the tent, but it's the forever friends I've made; most people don't share my passion for baking, and it's so wonderful to be with others who do. Simply lovely lovely -- be well, Patricia
We are so alike. Today I am sooooo sluggish. Can barely walk. It’s like trying to craft through some kind of thick air. Lol. Idk. I’m super slow today as well
My boss teased me last week because I'm hoarding all the window envelopes we get from the insurance payments... big windows 2x3 on some. I'm going to try to make shaker windows for ephemera.
These look lovely. Pardon me for coming into the third act, figuratively speaking, but are these envelopes then used in something else? Or is this just to play with papers and patterns? Thanks!
Yes, these are to add to junk journals. You'll find tutorials on junk journals on this channel. Also, search junk journals on yt to find more inspiring junk journalers.
I wish my tear ruler tore as well as yours. It's metal and doesn't like small margins. The paper just pulls out when I try to tear. Anything wider than the ruler is OK, but not the narrow white strip on printable. 😢
these are fab, your papers just work so well together! cant wait to see what you got from the antique market xx
Thank you so much!
Like the idea of a flap on both sides of the page for stability. A lovely envelope flip variation! TFS theinspiration, Rachel!
Thanks so much!
I really enjoy how you can take seemingly unmatchable patterns, colors and visual textures and make something beautiful! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Making a fold to attach to a page for a flip is a wonderful new take on the window envelopes! Brilliant Rachel. Say hi to Lulu for me. ❤️❤️🥰
Thank you so much!
I followed all your directions, and tried to do everything you do - including taking my shoes off (6:04)...nothing worse than working with hot feet! Love what you do, thank you.
Hahaha that's so funny! Thank you so much!
What an inventive way to use up the envelopes that arrive on such a regular basis, Rachel. Hugs, Carol xo
Thank you so much!
Good Morning Rachel from Florida! Loving so much your wonderful weekly challenges! My idea book is happily filling up! So excited that you got to go to the Antique Market!! :)))
Hello from Key Largo! Nice to see someone else from Florida.
What a beautiful place to live in the keys! Hello hello neighbor!
Thank you so much!
@@elenafarinas3 I certainly miss living there! I really miss being "an island girl" like I used to be!
great vid, thank you - love the flip idea. But, the market; I'm sure we would all love to see and hear more about it and what you bought and thanks so much for showing us which digis you used Rachel. Really appreciate the time you give us so much 💜💛💜💛💜

I sometimes start a video like that, lol!!! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!
It’s so nice to hear the birds now and then.
Fun example for using your scraps. Totally enjoyed this. You didn’t talk much about what was at the Antique Market. Hope you found some goodies.
I did find some goodies! I will share them soon! Thank you so much!
Also a good way to add a pocket to an existing page. Perhaps tuck one as an extra into a journal for the journal-er to add where they need it....like I think I will do in my journal. Thank you Rachael!
Thank you so much!
Good idea...to tuck an extra pocket in for the journaler to add anywhere they like. What a sweet bonus!
Really like them Rache! Great idea! 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx

Another great way of using up my window envelopes. I like the way you fix it to the page, a lot stronger than just the one flap. x

I really like this slim pocket! I didn't think you were moving slow. This coming from a person that's in sloth mode today lol. Hugs....

Hi ho, so simple so good, and easy to swap around love it 👏🏻👏🏻😍

Made me laugh. You said" something fell on the floor." Yup. It was my yarn ball. 😂
Great fun. I only got 3 done, but will finish the rest when Gayle does her challenge....haha
Thank you so much!
Another great one! Can’t wait to use up my stuff!

Would you show one of your journals finished ; then how you or others use it for their journaling? Love watching all of your videos !!
I have many flip through videos in a playlist . I use them as travel journals. Thank you so much 😊

Sheena from Luna Rozu is BACK SHE must have heard you calling her the back to us your other video day!!
These really turned out very pretty 😍
Thank you! 😊
@@roxycreations679 ,You’re so welcome 💜

Thank you so much!
I do usually try to make one but I don't report back
Can’t wait to try my hand at this. Can I borrow your box of scraps???😀
I would love to lend it to you!!! Thank you so much!
Our envelopes don't come like that but I'll see what I can do

What are those rulers called with a Jagged Edge is to rip papers off with? I really want one but I don’t know how to find them
They are by We R Memory Keepers, I think they are deckle edge rulers. You can probably find them on Amazon.
Just had to go to label city didn’t you!
I did, just for you!
I wish my tear ruler tore as well as yours. It's metal and doesn't like small margins. The paper just pulls out when I try to tear. Anything wider than the ruler is OK, but not the narrow white strip on printable. 😢
You may need to rpess down sjuper hard when doing thin strips. Thank you so much!
Добрый день! Roxy, скажите пожалуйста, для чего нужны такие конверты?
They are made with recycled envelopes and can be glued to a journal page.
