Ball solo ulting Sombra is a clear symptom of someone being TILTED.
The fact that he was baby raging about you as ball and then went doomfist really is something special
i loved his snarky "wow so good" comment, and then getting completely outplayed by translocating away from his ult followed by getting emp'd out of pile driver followed by dead
also, isn't gurkmeister a junkrat main? complain about silly heroes in that position..
I say this as a major Ball enthusiast: Any Ball currently whinging about someone going Sombra is a pathetic infant.

Imagine counter picking Sombra with Ball and Doomfist.
It basically worked for them the entire first half of the game. Sombra isn't AS good against a ball that is competent, it isn't the instant win button it once was.

I don’t really know this content creator but it’s likely because he’s focused and just really good. Having a cool, collected mind while playing helps.

The Zen swapping to Brig and the other DPS going Soj is what tipped the balance. Zen no longer needed babysitting and now they had some one for the mirror Soj match up. And then they REALLY started moving when the enemy got off Soj and went Cass. So now Fitzy’s team had the Soj advantage.
gotta love that regardless of the comp, you are giving your team a disadvantage picking a hero that isn't Sojourn.
Maybe my brain is just stuck in OW1, but something about getting bullied by Sombra on ball, and then switching to Doom is just the funniest thing in the world to me. Like what in god's name was the plan there
That slight dps bump last patch makes sombra playable again, to me. And watching you gives me the confidence to do so

A good Sombra can really tilt a Ball player, but a good Ball player can just outplay the hacks and easily kill translocator every time. Like, we see it in the first half of this video... if only the Ball stay composed and keep putting pressure on the back line they might've actually won the match.
Mei is WAY better if you wanna shut down Ball's movements. Fitzy is just exceptional at Sombra.

Anticipating Ball's rollouts, predicting flanks, placing your translocator based on where you knew the Ball would end up, repositioning based on what the Ball was doing, etc. Dude just got read so hard.

Yeah as you saw I was a little confused with how I died there. Definitely not supposed to do 100 damage.

I think Wrecking Ball's potential to AoE one shot squishies is even worse than hog meta. As opposed to Dva's ult, you can react faster. But once Wrecking ball targets you, you're as good as dead especially if you're grouped up.

I'm from the future, that type of player is everywhere in this game now! Can't enjoy the FFA Deathmatch because such players would rather gang up and bully a Reinhardt player in that mode rather than play it normally like in OW1.

Hacking in invis needed to go but old translator was Sombra's equivalent to tracers recall and without she's just not the same and people still find her just as annoying to play against if not more because of her ult having a longer ability lock out time
She just feels bad to play and everyone hates you for playing her on top of the game being in the horrible state it's in... I hope marvel rivals has a Sombra and succeeds as a competitor to ow2 because I don't enjoy playing ow2 but I love hero shooters as a genre

1:15 you got double booped, that's how you died. You grabbed the mega before you tp'd into roll.
it did double-boop damage but that wasn't an actual double-boop. you can't double-boop someone who doesn't get thrown further away neither does it do 100 damage at once but rather two separate 50 damage. If i had to guess as a dev myself, it was an interaction based bug where it probably does 100 damage if you boop right as she comes out of teleport because 50 damage was supposed to go to the translocator but it was already destroyed by fitzy using the teleport so the boop counted as two, hitting both fitzy and the translocator making it a total of 100 damage but since it got destroyed before it could apply the damage to it, it went to fitzy somehow (probably due to not having an IF case for this certain scenario)

I love how Sombra literally counters Ball in three ways
1. Hacks him out of ball form
2. Hacks mega packs, which are essential for him to pick up to get back in the fight as quick as possible
3. Teleport immediately to him after he grapples away next to your teleport

Literally just not fun as a support to play against sombra it's so dumb whether we win it lose you dont have a fun time
She has weaknesses and only 200 HP...She's not that hard to deal with. In fact, one of the best counters for Sombra is a support, Moira. Pretty much all of her attacks cancel hack (including Moira's ult), plus I'm definitely in danger if she decides to chase me down. Even after 450+ hours, she doesn't get any less scarier for me.

@@Meisuki shes unfun because the just stops you from playing the game no other character does that, and theres stealth and then theres perma invis and can see enemies through walls it's always been not fun against her
@@brandoncraggs7163 Her detection radius was increased and any tiny bit of damage that's done to Sombra knocks her out of invis. Also, she doesn't stop you from playing the game, she punishes you for relying too much on your abilities, hence why most of her direct counters are hit-scans. Yeah I can hack the Cass, but he can still pop my head off. Not even the translocator has an infinite amount of health so where's the actual unfun part?
Sombra gameplay cycle: Hack healthpack, place tp, hack the enemy tank player, tp to healthpack when low, repeat. Blizzard wanted to reduce unavoidable CC abilities in Overwatch 2, but then for some reason make Hack harder to react to because Sombra can use it while invis. I’m not trying to single out Sombra on this issue, this is industry-wide issue of game companies making hero abilities easier to use so they get higher player retention from the majority of players, the people who can’t aim and don’t know how to counter play correctly.
