Love your ingenious idea, and this simple set up. I prefer seaweed to fish emulsion, which, for me, has a disagreeable oder.
Question: have you done multiple plantings in this Styrofoam medium by each time adding fresh cocoa peat?
In my littIe experiment, I perforated the bottom of 16oz BPA-free food storage containers, and placed each of them in a larger, 32oz storage container, filled with water and then added fertilizer down the road.
I similarly perforated the lids and used them to grow Methi in them. Multiple lids are placed in a shallow tray over a bamboo grid.
Your idea of Seaweed fertilizer has greatly simplified my task. Thank you.
Thank you, this is the first time I made this polystyrene setup, generally I use to grow veggies in city greens 5 planter Hydroponic set-up.
@@PRAKRITIsGarden I will try your idea using Styrofoam boxes from the grocery store, used for packing grapes for delivery. They are large, and have holes on the sides. I might have to improvise a little. Will share.

You can easily grow Indian Almond at large scale, but I won't recommend you to grow California Almond in this climate
