Love this interview. Tony Rebel is always consciously enlightening us with his words and his music....one love
Seriously as a youth Tony songs give me a lot of strength and motivation. I appreciate him. That's why I did have to farword and support rebel salute. Bless him. I'm a fan of him and queen.
Finally a proper, well coordinated interview from the General and Legend Tony Rebel. Take your roses papa and I must say thank you for not only helping to preserve reggae music but also continuing to be one of the pillar of our culture and music. On my list of favorite reggae artists along with Garnett Silk you are there. Perfect example of a true artist that represents reggae music 🎵 🎼 🎶
Legendary interview with a legendary Artist Flowers fe Tony Reble🌻🌻🌻🌻
If jah is standing by my side ,then why should I be afraid of the pestilence that crawleth by night 🎶 💃🕺💃🕺
I grew up in Manchester with Rebel and Silk as our local stars before the rest of Jamaica knew them. However I have a correction for Rebel. Destiny Outernational was not based in Mandeville. It was based in my little district of Kendal Manchester close to my home. However I'm happy to see Rebel return to his artiste life because most youths under 30 don't know that Rebel was a top shelf artiste in the 90s. They only know him from Rebel Salute
I am the man why took Tony Rebel to Dynamic Sounds with my band from Mandeville called Mystic Generation Band. We recorded a song titled Casino for an unknown producer name Michael Gentles. I Even had a hand his win in Pop and Variety. It’s interesting how these guys disregard those who gave them their early start.
great history, i actually have the song casino, solid tune
Boo, if the whole story is ever told….not all who wear locs live di livity…honour is one of the most important ting, Ras to Ras….half di story has neva been told
Tony Rebel big ip yourself know this man from childhood from my mom's home in Pembroke hall where he also has his studio,Thevlate Garnett Silk, usually pass through and Simon Rochester from Annandale Pembroke hall,Jose Wales, Echo Minott, and others usually came through Pembroke hall,I was in high school at the time good memories
Tony Rebel, he is the first artist to put style and flavor in culture music and put a stopping to the boring thing in culture music. As an artist myself I am glad I got the chance to tell him that face to face in Vancouver Canada.
Rebel don't get enough raspek, mi a fan from long time. Rebel a mek mi wa locks back in 93 with Nazarite Vow, and the spirit of Garnet Silk just took things to a higher level. Mi just love Tony Rebel fi true, da Artiste deh BAD tuh ras. One of the GREATS freel. Glad Seani B ah geh di man him flowers while him can smell them. RASPEK Tony Rebel & Seani B for dis yaw platform.
We had a monthly Jam session at Planet Discotheque in Mandeville. Mystic Generation Band always included Tony Barrett in our lineup. Big up Keith Jackson.

A true living legend indeed. Nuff love Tony Rebel.
My all-time favorite song of yours is Teach the Children.....
Great artist! Back in the day I played his music all day seven days a week. My nieces and nephews are adults now and they say Auntie when we stayed at your house all you played was Rebel and now we know the song dem word for word 😅😅Well Tony started eating from the Garden of Eden and exercising so he is now aging backwards! It’s the only way people! Spend your money on good food or give it to your doctor for his cushy retirement! Bless. This was lovely to watch. ❤️💚💛🇯🇲✅

Garnett Silk was very humble and Spiritual ,I cried when I heard what happen to hom at his house with that terrible fire ,he went back in the house to try to save his mom and unfortunately they both got burnt in that horrific fire😓

Tony Rebel Legend 🔥🔥🔥Songs Live On Forever 💣🔥🔥🔥💯
And here i am, envisioning promoting alcohol free parties when it's already being done. This is just another reminder that not because we don't see/heard of it means it isn't being done. Cheers to the Rebel👏🏾
HE IS DEVIL WORSHIPPER 😂😂
@barringtonedwards7008 What does him worshipping the devil have to do with my comment? Remember this, many lives are being taken in the name of the Lord & and Savior Jesus Christ.
He didn’t just jump from Manchester Parish to Kingston, we in Mandeville had a lot to do with his early development. It’s a shame he chose to exclude this part of the story and it really is the inspiring part of the story.
