Thanks for watching, and we're glad we could make you laugh. I'm sure that happens more than we'd like to think, but we're proud to offer our "Oops guarantee!"
If it's in Alabama you can rest assured one thing, there's gonna be an extra fee! There are separate fees for EVERYTHING when it concerns Alabama. You wanna hunt over corn? Ok it's legal now as long as you pay an extra fee...fees on top of fees in Alabama
Hi Zash. For the dry method, the only liquid you need is a glass cleaner to clean off any dirt and remove wax to prepare the surface prior to applying the lettering.
Thanks for the great question, Doc! For the answer, I went directly to our BoatUS Graphics department, which makes all of the boat graphics in our Springfield, Virginia, headquarters. Here's the answer: Most all vinyl lettering will not adhere for more than a year or so due to expansion and contraction of the inflatable. What we suggest for our customers is that they either purchase a stencil kit from a local hardware store or have us create a stencil decal, and then find a paint that will adhere to the material on the dingy (PVC or Hypalon). These paints can be purchased at a local West Marine store or online. If you would like to buy a stencil decal from us, simply design your graphic online at BoatUS.com/Graphics, and in the “special instruction” section type that this order is for a stencil decal, and we will take care of the rest. And if you're a BoatUS Member, be sure to use your exclusive discount code, which is available in your latest magazine as well as by logging into your account at BoatUS.com/Account and clicking on the Resources tab. Scroll down to the BoatUS Lettering & Graphics tile. Hope this helps!
Hi Rick. Hopefully you can cut us a little slack since we shot that 6 years ago. Hopefully we'll have an updated version, sans cheesy music, in the next year or so.
Excellent instructions and we were howling at the end that was classic! Great Video!

Vinyl is temperature sensitive and needs to be applied to a warm clean surface to assure proper adhesion . This is a well made video, good job.
Worked like a charm!

Wet method is easier bcoz you can put wet stickers on the boat and slide them exactly the way you want then just let it dry and then peel off
Thanks for sharing your experience and for watching, WRX! We have videos showing both methods depending on which folks are more comfortable using.
Don't squeegy all the way. You will transfer the air bubbles all the way. Each letter at a time is the best.
After watching this video, whats the soapy water for in a spray bottle i was supose to use.

Will this work on an inflatable dinghy?

Step 1) Choose a less windy day!
Ha! Always a helpful tip!
The hardest part about this procedure is waiting for a hurricane to flair up before starting.
🤣Having the decal blow away is a critical step!
