Interesting watch gents.
I’m with Justin on the Dumpy 👌🏼 can’t beat it.
I’m moving back onto Flowpoint for porcelain now. Mainly because you know every void in the joint is full. Just need 3 people minimum and a belt cleaner to make life easier.
I think the Marshalls stuff is Instarmac rebranded not 100 sure on that though.
Got a surprise hearing my name. Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏼

More to come that’s for sure every time someone new 👍🏴
Here's a question, timber sleepers either side to make a path, staked into the ground, would you stake them into the soil so the sub base can be compacted in the middle or would you stake them into the hard core? Seen it done both ways, seems more advantages than disadvantages using railway sleeper pegs into the sub base
Yeh I’d go into the sub base too more stable 👍🏴
All this DIY'ing has got me obsessed with other peoples work, driving down the road all I'm doing is looking at peoples gardens and how wide their joints are lol. I was walking down the street and stopped to admire this guys wall. I had a few funny looks through the window, I'll bloody crash one day if I don't keep my eyes on the road
I nearly crashed the other day looking at hot chicks 😂 👍🏴

Bloody hell tidy , Justin , all you need is Johnny boy and you got the 3 stooges 😂😂lol joke 3 wise men ❤❤❤❤question is Johnny boy a honour welsh man now , yep customer reference , not price now as so many in the midlands are massively undercutting as they have come from sites and are not working , but most ain’t got a clue , I don’t know about DIY,r/s tidy some tradesmen need to take on board what you and Justin are saying , great stuff lads and massive respect , keep safe , fairy liquid Leeds to efflorescence , but fairy is better to lay but big no no if you get caught ! Keep safe mate and all the best ! Agree brick stone cuts is like watching a cnc machine , born with a still saw that man !!!! Good luck tidy in the coming weeks !!!
At some point we’ll have to get Johnny onboard
Yeh reference of some sort over price cost for sure people talk a lot of shite but ref’s help.
Hopefully these videos help some people out that’s my hope 👍🏴
Thx for watching
I watch other bricklayers and if I see a method I like I store it in my mental toolbox and use it on my own projects.
That’s the way too progress in the world keep it up 👍🏴
Both good lads
I put mapei grout in with a pointing gun scrape off with a wallpaper scraper when semi dry brush the excess up sponge off with a sponge no mess and easy to do, some has been in on a job I did 4 years ago and still sound
Sounds like a great way of doing it good man 👍🏴
The two a teams together 😂
2 old bastards lol 👍🏴
Floorseal Cement and Grout Haze Remover, £28.99 for 5 litres, porcelain comes up awesome afterward, defo worth just buying and using IMO - it's that good and easy.
Thanks for sharing for others to read all this stuff helps 👍🏴
Ive put power grout from tile master between concrete flags and it still there no grumbling
Happy days that’s the best product for your situation I’d say let that power fill every gap before the water hits it 👍🏴

The bloke in the blue don’t half bloody go on bla bla bla 👍🏴
@tidybrickslandscaping
Dont no why you choose him Scott 🤣🤣👍
Hi Scott, greetings from rainy Thailand.
I have a question about lying porcelain pavers, I know that you always lay it on fresh concrete bed around 5cm thick. But what about pouring first a concrete slab and then next summer laying porcelain on top of that? The reason I want to go this way is the fact that I don't have enough funds to buy porcelain now, but I have already sectioned off the area, which is boarded with concrete blocks, partially filled with type 1 mot and I get a lot of vegetation inside. I would like to fill that with cement this year and next year to lay porcelain. What would you advise?
Sounds totally fine no worries the main thing to remember is when you get the tiles and are ready to lay give the concrete a good clean up first then before the lay any cement on the slab you need to prime the concrete first with a slurry cement so when the cement hits it it’s not going to separate the primer will help it bind 👍🏴
@tidybrickslandscaping Thank you for a quick reply 🙏 well noted! About the slurry, it might be a silly question, but to make it, should I mix cement with water only or add a bit of sand too?
@@jakubzylowski1399 we use over here a glue called SBR you might remember it use that with some cement powder and make a wet type paste without water just the glue liquid 👍🏴 not thick more wet to absorb into the concrete and prepare it for cement. Don’t let it dry use the same time you lay the cement
@tidybrickslandscaping that is super helpful, and how thick should be cement layer between the concrete slab and porcelain?
@@jakubzylowski1399 around 30/40mm on average 👍🏴
You need to get out more!!
I’m trying 👍🏴
