The two purple "dupes" don't look exactly the same to me, though they are quite close. At least with your video quality and lighting, I can tell a difference; but you are for sure an expert on formulas, so I'll take your word for it!

You mentioned a "blurring base coat" a few times, and I have never heard of that before, which is crazy to me since I'm one of the insane polish collecting people. What are they? Are they different from seni-opaque ridge filling base coats? Who makes them? Where can I get them? Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into these videos while raising your kids AND creating your own line if awesome polishes. I go early don't know how you do it all!
Thanks for the review and comparisons. I would have bought that purple if I hadn't seen this video and was not planning on the dark green which I will go for now. I am not interested in the sheer peach but will go for the rest of the collection. I would be interested in a comparison with the Orly Bejeweled collection.

On my monitor, Purpletonium and Spoil Me Rotten are both in that royal purple range, but still distinctly different. Purpletonium is a "truer" royal purple, deeper in shade, while Spoil Me Rotten is lighter. At some angles it has a pinkish tinge that Purpletonium doesn't. But maybe that's my monitor.
Coconut kiss (567) looks so exactly like spoil me royal and purpletonium (i have coconut kiss and recently i bought purpletonium cause they ran out in Sally B and didn't get spoil me royal, the only thing is that's purpletonium looks more glittery than C.K. and it's matte)
24K is really similar to Loves 'em and Leaves 'em from the autumn collection they just released too. That added with Purpletonium dupe made this one a bit of a pass for me.
Honestly I have been in a state for the past 5 years about China Glaze that I couldn't care less about them (probably due to trying some disappointing ones) and I haven't even bothered to watch any reviews either. BUT this thumbnail made me kinda curious and now I'm actually interested in 3 of the colors 😀 like what the fluff 😅 especially the purple even though I agree with you, that's lazy to do the exact same color again 🙄

I see a difference in them, too. This new one has more of a pink to it. But very slight!

@@PhoebeMoon "Spoil me Royal" reminds me of another purple Polish by China Glaze called "Coconut Kiss" but the latter was more of a Semi-matte finish
