ok so coming from the order as an existing owner of Tata safari dark plus I've taken a long TD of hycross to test features, suspension mainly, top speed, NVH 1. Seating support is claimed to be better in Safari BECAUSE it has lower back support which is missing in Innova which I agree 2. But the seats in safari will make your shoulders hump due to bolstering, am not hatte khatte, yet this is a problem. Innova seats are very plush. 3. A pillar in safari is a huge blind spot especially with rain/sun visor installed. Even after installing that INnova has the glass pane like Jazz, that's super helpful, my TD vehicle came with visors installed 4. Steering is super heavy in Safari which I was aware of but its a real pain in sweaty palms, winter areas with slippery turn to make. Hycross steering is buttery smooth 5. Doors open wide in Innova compared to Safari so ingress and egress leg room is better for elders especially. If you have friends like me who spoils your seat backside, you might be saved from Innova 6. 2nd row : Missing sun shades, ac vents in the pillar isn't useful for indian heat. Innova/Carens like airdam for AC acts like a curtain of cool air and cools cabin atleast throws good breeze as per your need in second row. I have to keep my mid ac vents in right position for air to circulate in Safari for mid row and last 7. 3rd row : no questions. Innova and even carens is better 8. Driving : all stated between Innova vs Safari is true especially the insulation in Safari is poor and the engine noise seeps in very heavily very neatly put comparison and I think the only comparison that exists as of today that's very detailed in manner. Sooner I'll be switching though, considering the same is reflected by experts as well.
Lol.. toyota gives u a premium feel. 25 - 50 lakhs is dominated by toyota for a reason. . Don't think too much, Just buy toyota over 25 lakhs budget.. under 25 get Mahindra , hyundai, kia.

Hycross hybrid is best car in 30L price bracket. Belive me it is so easy to drive such big car even in city. Totally worth it if anyone want 7 seater petrol automatic and budet is 30L.
The two biggest mistakes Tata did was discontinuing the 2.2 varicor and making the safari into a fwd crossover. God knows why they make these decisions

@@ashwinkumar2294 Today I will book the Safari, I have very good relation with Mahindra service center they told me not to get the XUV 700 as it has a lot of electronic problem they told me if you want to get XUV 700 then wait for next year batch. What I noticed in Safari that could have been better is engine noise, insulation (The same goes for XUV as well cause the engine bay becomes too hot) and suspension noise. A little bit softer suspension could have helped many people hate the hydraulic steering wheel but if you are travelling long distance that's a very good steering wheel very stable at even 150+ kmph.

If looking for petrol and the budget allows then Hycross is the way to go or else Safari has definitely upped the game with the facelift and would probably get even better with upcoming facelifts and of course petrol engine.

I hv owned Volvo toyota mercedes and tata . I can say tata safari ride quality is next to mercedes gle . Toyota is good in engine service bg I never liked the ride quality of fortuner if u will ride safari and fortuner back to back u will feel ride difference safari is actually affordable landrover
Never thought I’d write this but Tata safari is great now with updated features. I dropped buying Tata harrier in 2021 just because of interior feel and low features.
All the people praising Tata are just going by emotions. Their post sale, service experience is one of the worst in the country. Too much cabin noise. Engines are not refined. List is long. Toyota on the other hand is way ahead in every department! If you are reading this and want to buy a car between these two, go for Hycross.
