the heating pack can actually just use water from any source, so you really don't have to use a clean water supply to activate the heating pack. I believe you can even use salt water

It is actually a Chinese internet slang often used to describe good looking idols implying that they look slim with clothes on but are actually muscular when they are shirtless. The self heating pot borrowed this slang to make the package bit more trendy and funny. They have used this slang on their meat package to indicate that the meat might seen less when you did not have open the package but when you pull it out there are actually quite a lot.
Those instant hot pot rice meals look delicious! Just the right size for one person. They need to start marketing all of those instant pot meals with the water (for the heating pack) included! 😊
Driving in Singapore ? The smooth roads can afford to keep that stable. Try that on the off beaten tracks in Australia and that boiling water will be splashing.

About 15 years ago someone marketed self heating cans of coffee and soup. I tried the soups but they never got HOT, but only luke warm. All you had to do is remove the tape and twist the bottom ( I think) and it got hot.
@@remotecamper9113 we bought a bunch of the coffee ones for a trip and camping (on sale 3 for $1us) and while it was better than no coffee they didnt get super hot. It was a fad and kinda fun tho. I'd try these in a hot minute if I could afford no spicy ones yet.
@@Emeraldwitch30 These rice take about 15min to cook but it was hot and taste very good. But don't do it like the guy on the vid, you need to put all the sauce in and mix it nice and well together with water before cooking it.
Yes. Very yes. I'm the sort who squeezes out every last bit, and if it can't be squeezed out (like some of the oil-and-gritty-stuff packets from MaMa Shrimp and such), I'll cut three edges off and open the thing up and pour water over it to get every bit of sauce.
Thanks for this! Saw this on the kdrama "It's ok not to be okay" so I bought this. Couldn't read the instructions and google translate wasn't working lol

I mean they could've just put another one of those water packs in with the already included one, for the heating pack.
That could be nice
short answer? saves money to not include it.
Guess it’s not really a « self-heating » meal then...xD

KJCHEONG yummy 😂
"Snow-preserved vegetables" sounds like a bad translation of "frozen vegetables".
...more "freeze-dried", which they are :)
I'm thinking it's 'snow cabbage' (a kind of mustard green) and maybe snow peas.
in fact it's pickle of bokchoy
it's mustard green

Thank you for the subtitle of the packaging. Didn't know its funny
the "meat"here means muscle
I think it means
Look skinny with clothes on, but look muscular when naked
It means, looks thin in the bag but the meat will expand after you cook it. Something had gone wrong during the translation I assumed
