Goretzka it is playing fantastic. But I agree with the board. He’s not getting any younger and if he plays better even better for Bayern his price will go up. We need to bring in new young players in. Bischof coming in means that he will be his replacement for years to come. If Goretzka stays then that means that Bischoff wouldn’t play much since we would have 5 midfielders plus Laimer which I think he will also play there since Stanisic n Boey coming back from injuries.

Agree is time to move on we appreciate what he has done for the club but is time. And and much I like Liamer and he’s been healthy this whole season I wish we can move on from him too. Because he really doesn’t bring any quality in the midfield or Right back he just press machine. kimmich, Pavlovic, Paulina and Tom Bischof is enough quality and will give us a lot of options. To win champions league you need squad and quality depth.
@Mason_23 completely agree with you. Mere hard labour is not enough. A champion team needs quality hard labour, some extra to turn the table. Besides, what seems to be sentimentally harsh for the present should be considered as necessary for the future, too.
I am not surprised, Goretzka didnt do his job vs Wolfsburg, we conceded 2 goals... it doesnt matter that he scored 2 goals since his job wasnt offence but defence. Goretzka fall out of the first team because our defence sucked last season. Bayern had to buy Palhinha because of that and Goretzka did not learn anything from it, he identifies as an offensive midfield player and u wont be able to change that at his age anymore. U cant use him as a defensive midifielder and as an offensive midifielder Bayern has no spot for him.

Yeah specially when we have Pavlovic and Tom Bischof coming in they will be the future midfield pairing.
