You always put together the best looks! I'm so sorry you're going through it right now. Healthcare is super frustrating and anxiety provoking. Ugh I've got a doc appointment tomorrow that I'm dreading. They always try to attribute every issue to weight or mental health and it's infuriating. You know your body and mind better than anyone and you know when something isn't right... The trick is advocating for yourself and making them give you some sort of resolution..... I'm still working on those. Lol I hope you get answers and some resolution . Thanks for sharing.💕
You are too kind- thank you so much! I hope your dr's appt goes well! And yeah- that last ER trip I was very adamant. After he saw the CT scan results he was a little more empathetic. It just sucks to waste so much time and money at dr visits to get nothing out of it. It's infuriating. Thank you for being here and for the feedback. 💜💜
I love your makeup! I can't wait to try recreating this. I just wanted to add, I understand your frustration with doctors and not getting answers. For months and months I knew something was wrong and went to multiple doctors and ran many tests, and everything came back WNL. It was so frustrating, and you start to wonder if something is wrong with you, and you just have to "deal with it." Right before Xmas 2021, I was finally diagnosed with MS. I rejoiced at finally having an answer as to why I kept feeling like crap, but like you said, when you have a "silent" injury or disorder, because it's not physically seen, you are often discounted. I hope you get your answers soon!
Thank you so much! I'm sorry to hear you went through a similar struggle. I obviously don't want there to be anything seriously wrong, but not knowing is making me feel crazy. I hope you're doing well 💗
Michelle I am so sorry you are going through these digestive issues, I have stomach problems too, and it is an awful feeling. Don't apologize for talking about your issues, sometimes talking helps deal with the frustration and annoyance of going through it all. I hope you end up feeling better and hopefully find out what is going on with you.
Ugh I'm so sorry you also deal with that crap. It's horrible! I always worry I'm going to come across as a Debbie downer and people don't like watching that lol but I want to be real with you all. Glad to see you here today, friend 💜💜💜
I've been having a lot of the same issues with my digestive system too. The doctor wants to check to see if I'm coeliac or if I have IBS, so we'll see. It is so frustrating when you have anxiety or mental health issues and the doctors try to blame everything on your anxiety! It happens to me a lot, and has even delayed me getting antibiotics for a severe chest infection! I really hope you get to the bottom of your digestive issues! Love and hugs! 🥰🥰🤗🤗
It's absolutely infuriating... keep pushing! I have 4 dr's I'm seeing now so if one of them can't help me, Idk what else to do anymore lol I wish you the best of luck 💜💜
I’m dealing with a lot of GI issues as well. They’re thinking endometriosis based off my symptoms and chronic pain, I won’t know for sure until surgery is done. Hope you start feeling better!
@@MakeupwithMichelle endometriosis effects many organs, it’s insane! I’m just glad to be getting answers. Getting gaslit by doctors since I was 10 saying this pain is normal, definitely not, I can’t walk some days!
I could see the EMT just straight up asking you if you'd been doing drugs, just because (in my area at least) drug abuse and addiction is really bad right now. That way he could know how to help you. But the way he did it seems unprofessional af!! I just hope you get answers soon and they can treat whatever it is!
Yeah it was sketchy af...he was going on about smoking and other partying-I was like, "Dude, I'm too old for all that crap... I've done enough partying in my day to last 3 lifetimes, I'm good on all that" lol it def rubbed me the wrong way. And girl, me too!!! 💜
Sorry this has nothing to do with this video. Idk why I never saw your channel before today: but your declutter popped up on my feed. I am loving your content! I would Love an eyeshadow palette declutter. Not necessarily declutter but just to see your inventory. Looking at your gorgeous talented eye looks I can tell you must have a wonderful collection! My absolute favorite part of makeup. Although, I love all makeup! ❤️
Thank you so much for leaving that feedback for me- that's so kind of you to say. I'm def working on the eyeshadow collection/declutter...I won't be getting rid of much I don't think, I love my collection too much- it's such a long, arduous process filming that video though- especially when you have well over 200 palettes lol Glad to have you here 💜💜💜
I feel so terrible I left this message on a video I hadn’t actually watched yet. I was watching the declutters. It’s awful that you’ve struggling with your health. Idk if you follow Samantha March but your symptoms sound so similar and she was struggling with doctors dismissing her too. It’s so frustrating!!! She started going to a naturalpathic (sorry could be wrong name) doctor and she is helping her enormously! Unfortunately they don’t accept insurance. She mentioned a type of diet? It’s eliminating foods temp and adding them back in to check symptoms etc. can’t remember the name though. ❤️ Hope you get relief!
Aww don't sweat it! Yeah, I've been following Sam for quite some time now and have heard of her struggles as well. They're similar, but very different when I listen to her symptoms. I hate that either of us are dealing with health issues, though. I really appreciate your input though- I've thought about seeing a naturopath but- like you said- insurance doesn't cover it and I'm a single mom of 3. I can't afford it, unfortunately. I've eliminated a lot from my diet, but I'm still having a lot of issues. I get more testing done in Nov, so here's to hoping they figure out what's going on 🤞💜
I hope you feel better soon and get the answers you need. Icing the ankle when it starts to swell should help. I fell last September and broke my left ankle and badly sprained my right. Some days the sprained ankle is still more of a problem than the one I broke.
Thank you, Helen 💜💜 isn't that crazy?! I've had so many ppl tell me that about a sprain. I guess I'd never had one this bad before- normally mine have been good after a couple weeks.
I’m so sorry-that is a lot to be going through. We really have to be our own health advocates, because you’re right. Some healthcare professionals really don’t take the time to really HEAR concerns and experiences. They just hand over some pills. It sounds like you at least had one great doctor in the mix so I hope you get things figured out!
Thank you, Kelly 💜 it's def been a struggle. And yes- that doctor was the most down to earth and most empathetic. Usually they act like you're a nuisance, you are a lunatic with crippling anxiety (even if I am, that doesn't mean I don't have valid health concerns 😂), etc. It's been very frustrating. Thank you 💜💜💜
Hey! Thank you for being candid about your health issues. When it rains, it pours it feels like when you are sick. I went through very similar things to you, and since going to the Dr since 2010, I got an official diagnosis in September of 2021 of Sjogrens disease (autoimmune). Working through mitigating those specific symptoms without medication for this disease that now has a name, has made a world of difference. I have ups and downs, but can navigate it so much better now. I don't want to give you unsolicited advise, but if you are able to seek out a functional medical Dr to work with you along with your PCP you may find answers quicker. Functional medical works in almost homeopathic remedies, so are seen as quacks sometimes, but they might be able to see something a PCP is overlooking. I'm not wanting to tell you what to do so I hope it isn't coming across that way. I just hope you find some real answers with ways to see actual results in feeling better. Health issues suck and as much as it sucks, people at work tend to lack compassion when going through problem after problem after problem.
I really appreciate you sharing this with me. I'm so glad you finally got answers! Not knowing is def the worst part bc you don't know how to treat it. I'll look into that. Thank you love ❤️
Also, gut health and anxiety have been proven to be medically related. So you gut issues make your anxiety worse, which makes your gut issues worse. Vicious cycle (have that and the cysts too) I eat gluten and peanut free. I limit dairy as dairy can act like a the wheat protein. Eating anti-inflammatory could make a huge difference for you. If you decide to make that lifestyle change as it isn't easy at first (now, six years in I find it super easy) but if you remain dedicated and don't "cheat" on it, you will see a difference. Wheat stays in your system for 18 months. So one cheat day could affect you for over a year. Not trying to preach, just saying what has helped me over the years in the event it might help you too
I've def changed my diet A LOT. But I could be doing better. I've lost a lot of weight-unintentionally-bc of my diet changes. I don't eat much dairy anymore and I eat a lot of whole foods. I need to try abstaining from gluten and continue to eat healthier though.
@@MakeupwithMichelle it's rough and the fact that you are making changes without answers speaks to you wanting to get better. I truly do hope you find answers soon. You seem like such a lovely person and I hate to see lovely people dealing with so much
i wrote a comment to you a day after your video but it seems it has been deleted. i feel so sad about your struggles and i wish i could comfort you on ig to but i know my mental health and eating disorder will be triggered by all the image pressure on ig. but i hope your doc will do a better job next time and its so sad that so many docs say its anxiety or just throws a illness at you, is so bad. but keep your hopes up, if you give up you will never win. try to eat dairy free and only drink coffee three times a day, it helped me and my ibs. your anckle will heal but its true it hurts like hell and ive heared its more painfull to sprein than brake. ill send you all my positive vibes and love sweetie. cudos for beeing a great ytr and posting will still be sick. be safe and well love ya. ps ive been wondering about trying the ud lash freak or the macstack mascara, which do you recommend? i have runny eyes and almost every mascara smudges on me. stay positive my friend
I really wish YT would quit deleting my comments-Idk it keeps doing that! And I def don't want you to do anything triggering-IG can be a great place, but I understand how it can be triggering as well. I def don't want you putting yourself at risk. I've cut almost all dairy out of my diet. I'm down to one tea or coffee a day (if that), and I've cut out almost all processed foods. I still eat processed stuff occasionally- but I have COMPLETELY changed my diet. I'm eating for my health instead of overindulging on things I enjoy tasting. It's a hard mental switch to make, but a necessary one for me. I also started taking a fiber supplement. I'm really hoping all of these changes make a big enough difference that I can start feeling some sense of normalcy again. I've never tried the UD Lash Freak so I can't comment on that one-the Mac Stack is decent but I'm not sure I would say it's super long-wearing for someone that deals with watery eyes. It also has fibers in it I would go with a waterproof mascara. I love the Tarte Maneater mascara- they also have a waterproof version. A mascara I've really fallen in love with recently is the Colourpop Act Natural. It doesn't smudge on me, it's long wearing, and it's super inexpensive. So happy to hear from you friend 🥰Sending lots of love your way 💜💜💜
