Loved this update. Yay for Lana and The Boyfriend! Wow. It's never broadcast these days but I loved it the one time I saw it on the TV. My university did a great production many years ago. I might have to search for the DVD of that one. I'm so pleased that your daughter shares your love of old films too. Each time I watch one of your videos I'm always shocked by how incredibly similar our tastes are in decks, books, films and other stuff. We're amazing aren't we😅. All the best from England.

I need to watch something with Marilyn Monroe-I never have. And I should watch some more films with Katherine Hepburn. One of these days I’ll read T.E. Lawrence’s book. It’s been collecting dust on my shelf for years!
In the Seven Year Itch, she’s playing her typical Marilyn Monroe role, but she’s so good at it, and I came to appreciate her more as I got older. In the Misfits she’ll break your heart, a movie my daughter wants to see soon, although there is some upsetting subject matter, well worth it though, a brilliant film. Oh how cool: you have Seven Pillars of Wisdom! I read it nearly 20 years ago and should probably read it again. The Rite of Spring just never gets old, it never ages. It’s some of the most exciting music on the planet and believe it or not, it’s on my workout playlist 😂 I used to listen to it while out on a run (I don’t run anymore, I have a stationary bike) Now I want to listen to one of my favorite recordings of it (and I just might) 😊

I dont know Dune so I will need to pop off and find them and see whether I can read them. I am always amazed at how you fit in reading so many books, watch so many videos and do everything else, have you found a way to fit 80 hours in a day? please share with me, you are superwoman...I adore your love books and your enthusiasm. I absolutely love the classic old films, and I feel very sad that you have to pay for all these channel, well i guess thats the way it is these days. I have a wonderful DVD collection of Fred Astaire and Bette Davis (not in the same box set though 🤣, can you imagine Bette Davis and Fred Astaire dancing together!). Hello dear! If you search for playing card sweatshirts you can find some, I’ve seen them around. Mine isn’t actually a sweatshirt, it’s just a long sleeved T shirt and I’ve had it for a couple of years so I don’t think it’s available. Haha I wish I had 80 hours in day! I feel so behind, personally. It’s very difficult to find a streaming service I’m happy with. Just about all the services I’ve tried, I’ve discovered the movies I want to watch ask for an additional rental fee. I already had a decent sized film collection but it’s growing after we lost Turner Classic Movies. Haha Bette Davis and Fred Astaire dancing together 😂 I have a Bette Davis collection too. I’ve been educating my daughter on the history of cinema and so Gone With the Wind was a must, and she watched it with me during Christmas break. She loves quoting Rhett’s famous line at the end hahaha ♥️ Thank you for visiting, my friend 🤗 💕
