I started getting into that freaky feeling after just a couple weeks. I knew I had done things I enjoyed, things worthwhile, but drew a blank when trying to think of them. What I started doing is write down all the productive things I do every day, with the requirement of doing at least one productive thing each day (which is really easy as long as I'm not feeling depressed!). To me, "productive" means something that was worth my time. Watching UA-cam videos does not count as productive for me, even if I enjoyed them because it's kind of a mindless time-waster (This doesn't mean I don't watch lots of UA-cam, it just can't count as my productive deed of the day). However, watching episodes of shows I haven't watched before counts, because I have such a long to-watch list and watching anime & cartoons makes me happy. Productivity is different for everyone. For me it's doing what I need to do or have wanted to do. Habitual things aren't worth writing to me, though. It's just redundant. But, keeping track every night reminds me that I haven't been doing "nothing". And that is a comfort to me.
-- Examples of what I write --
*Worth writing:* reading for leisure, homework, talking with a friend (vaguely specify time frame: a while = hour-ish, lil bit = maybe 10 minutes tops), arts & crafts projects, baking something, organizing/cleaning, playing the Sims, going for a walk, tending garden, spending enjoyable time with my siblings playing Mario Kart or watching Naruto (bc we usually ignore each other's existences or argue so that activity's a win), drawing, cosplay TikToks, etc
*Not worth writing:* Basic necessities that I do daily or nearly daily such as eat, sleep, shower. Spending time with my dog (that's just necessary, y'know?). Watching UA-cam, TikTok, or other social media. Zoning out and lying in bed in lethargy for an unspecified amount of time (that's what I've been trying to avoid).
