Loved him in The Wood, Love and Basketball and even more recently in “This is Us.” I say no reboot or follow-up movie to Love and Basketball; some movies are classics and imo don’t need a follow-up or remake. Higher Learning is and was my movie. I watched it with my son a couple of months ago. I thought the message that the movie conveyed was important. When Michael said, it hurts, it hurts. That REALLY always get to me. And the way that Omar's character was grieving the loss of Daja. People don't realize how important it is to let go of hatred and malice and bitterness and unforgiveness of any kind.

I'm gunna say the thing you ain't supposed to say.....when I was a youth I was actually sad that him and Sanaa Lathan broke up....as I have gotten older, I can see why it was the best thing for the both of them, and I'm really happy they chose not to hold each other back. I don't know why they did, but I'm happy for them, because I see him and Keisha whom I also a absolutely adore, and my heart is glad that they share the love they do. It truly is devine poetry !!
