The way Gukesh jumped on to the knight move after Esipenko blunder was just amazing. Such blunders happen at this level too
@anondodasgupta5275 after magnus dispatches chucky he's going to take down gukesh.
time constraints leads to mistakes.
gukesh blundered a piece to a simple fork vs nordibek in olympiad
Such blunders i call them amateurs hes rating is around 1500 pffff hahahaha
Because Gukesh was hoping that Esipenko would fall for the elementary trick.
7:34 how fast he did that move
Damn that's gonna haunt Esipenko for a while... completely drawn, and he could've kept his chances alive, all thrown away in a single blunder :(
Well played by Gukesh! 4 Indians in the top 16, go India!
Luckily with pairings, we might have 4 indians in top 8 as well!
@@AshutoshDhamaleVD is up against Nepo. Not easy
5
@@pt7258Nepo is very tough. It would difficult for VD to beat him.
Vidit beating Nepo is 100 times more unlikely as Nihal beating Nepo. Not happening lol (unless Nepo blunders or something)@@pt7258
Totally a drawn match until Esipenko made the blunder. Way to go Gukesh.
no Gukesh still had a past pawn, could promote it later in the game if played right
@@kevindsilva659 Lol no the game was a dead draw and the passed pawn is easily stopped
@@kevindsilva659 Nah man with the bishop pair Esipenko could easily stop the passed pawn.
Esipenko obviously devastated but still kept it so classy. There are several other top GMs who would throw a fit in such a situation particularly Nepo and Hikaru. Congrats to Gukesh.
Nepo would throw chairs 💀
No hikaru wouldnt. He literally doesnt care like literally he just doesnt care like he just doesnt carr you know literally.
WOW. Did not expect that at this level. Elementary Fork it was. He had more time than Gukesh as well.
No it was a very believable Knight fork because it was a horrific blunder in a simple position by Esipenko ! Gukesh pounced in an instant and looked up at Esipenko straight away !
It was unbelievable because it was elementary and you won't believe a a GM could make that mistake.
Exactly@@aman5428
7:35 speed of light came on second first is move of gukesh when he sees the fork 😂
Thanks, I was looking for this video
7:33 look how hard is chess on that top level
Thank you guys for all this videos from world cup.
Fun begins at 7:43 and Gukesh reaction was awesome 😊
Gukesh must have felt so good after having been in the same situation not so long ago against Abdusattorov. Well, that’s life i guess.
That's exactly what I thought, now when Andrey and Nodirbek meet, latter's gonna blunder the same way and Esipenko will get his revenge. Circle of life
@@987TN It's like stone paper scissors
Oh wow fr@@RishabhSharma10225
Esipenko demostró ser durísimo, lamentablemente cometió un error muy tonto dejándose el alfill, quizá sea por cansancio, presión...
Same thing happened to Hikaru. You noticed good.
The Gukesh look after fork : gaya re ye ab to 😂
Am always scared of knight in the end game.. it’s very difficult to visualise how bloody they move.. that’s why I usually sacrifice bishop whenever I get a chance to take knight
If blunder like these happen at international levels then I am happy with my blunders.
Gukesh felt bad for Esipenko too. But he was like, "let's focus".
After the fork gukesh be like "Ye resign kyun nehi kar raha hain"
The face (7:35) of Andrey after Gukesh moved his knight was the same I did when I forgot my final project in my house in middle school 😂
Blunders happen 7:28
Gukesh was saved from an exhausting, drawn out match that could have gone either way by that blunder!
Go Gukesh ❤
Sagar bhai please add commentry in such matches your commentry makes the game way more interesting
Esipenko have had high chance to win with two bishops but that fork with knight👏
07:30
He spent 40 seconds thinking prior to that move as well, incredible...
Knight always dangerous....it will attack un- expected time. Gukesh seems played volunterly on that location❤❤❤😂😂😂
I can hear Samay Raina saying in sarcastic tone..."double bishop advantage" 😂
Hey Sagar and Amruta
hi! Im a big fan to your commentary and the way you guys make analysis videos live streams....
A small suggestion buddy can you please increase the digital chess board size in the videos so that it will make it easy to understand the moves and make it easy to learn
Thank you so much for making these videos more power to you guys
Hope you read this comment and respond positively....
Guk most emotionless man all over the world 😅
gukesh takes less than 1 sec to play that knight move after the bishop blunder. It felt like Goku was using "instant transmission."😇
lmaoooo gukesh pounced on that
What is the opening name for white....can someone tell me??
H3 Sudden Knight blunder - Gukesh like, thank god I did it😂
Gukesh jumped on the knight so fast after esipenkos bishop move as if esipenko was gonna take back his move😅😅
Giod game Luckyesh 💪
There was just one simple threat from Gukesh possible in that position and that happens. 😅😅 Gukesh has that luck you need in this tourney. 😂😂
7:32 is the move you are looking for🙃😎
They were both playing like machines until Esipenko's lapse in cocentrration.
Brilliant knight fork gukesh
Sip of water , like the boss gukesh made esipenko cry 😭😭. Congratulations to India no. 1 grandmaster.👏👏
We also want Sagar shah sir commentry missing it😢
at 4:56 after Rd8 was not there B*c5 because if B*c5 then R*d8 and Q*c5 then Q&c5 B*c5 and takes on d8 R*d8
I like those hover boards.
eso fue de verdad un Big Blunder
Congrats guki❤️
Pragg and gukesh ....
Eliminates naka and esipenko....
😊
Nice
Feeling sad for him 😢
Esipenko had plans to trap the knight.😮😢
Why Gukest must move the knight at that lighting speed. Its certainly a blunder by Esipenko but Gukesh shld show his cool and maturity by moving the knight in normal speed. This happened only in kid's play when kid like to jump on opportunity
Gukesh is an Assassin
The fork is on 7:30
Ouch
Damn. Esipenko be like I hate chess
Knight fork at 7:30
esipenko is so calm even after blunder... future world Champion!!!
Everyone these days is called a future world champion.
Appreciate esipenk calmness..but the damage is already over ..so that's why he couldn't react much. Looks like Gukesh is going to either lose or draw the match. He escaped from that complex position.
Why was it blunder when black played rd8 both missed it but engin says it's blunder 🤷♂️
With a caption of "Unbelievable Knight Fork" at that point of the game I was expecting something like the 2 bishops to be forked, not a simple blunder.
A knight cannot fork both bishops
@@nachiketbapat65662 bishop forked 😂
Can anyone tell me yeh match gukesh kaise jeet gaya ?
Question 1 - at 8:36 could anyone please let me know if Gukesh could have won without exchanging knight for the Bishop Question 2 - if Stockfish played Gukesh after the blunder by Esipenko, what were the chances that Stockfish would draw this game
1: Simplification is the main technique to convert a material advantage. A challenge like "can you win without exchanging any piece" is like "can you win KQ-K without moving the king" or "can you drive from Rome to Paris without ever turning left": The additional rule makes it a different game. 2: Zero because Gukesh doesn't blunder the piece back. Of course, some people get nervous when they know theyr'e playing against an engine, but I think Gukesh is confident enough.
@@friedrichvolkmann - Thanks a lot Chessmate ... really appreciate your insightful answer
😢 can't believe
7:25 the knight fork
sistema colle engimaticoooooooo!
may the fork be with you
chess is brutal
Gukesh means business.
Why is Gukesh's rating mentioned 2629 in caption below at tye beginning ?? Isnt it around 2750 and he is the India number 1 ??
That is his rapid rating
This was not a classical match
Heart break for Episenko.
Esipenko copied my move...... i get forked on my pieces all the time... its in my repertoire
It's the same knight from the olympiad
7:30
Mistake happened Due to Miss calculation not think proper way before move not even evaluation by player this is one type of huge blunder we can say like it benefit taken by player immediately always think before you make your move you can think various way and at the end this type result we get than after we will regret .🙏
0:00 Gukesh is 2757 not 2629
this kind of blunder frustrate us 😊😊
lucky boy
This is why in chess you have 2 opponents; yourself and the other guy. Sometimes, yourself is the bigger problem.
Why is Sagar not voice overing
lol , we all have blundered like esipenko and made the same face.
Someone explain why 4:54 is blunder by espienko? looks like both gukesh and espienko missed it.
He is losing pawn there. White takes Bc5, Black Bc5, Rook takes d8, Queen takes d8 and next move white have bishop there
@@raghuveershetty1241 there has got to be more than that. If he is only losing a pawn, eval bar should be around +1, but it goes up to +2??
@@raghuveershetty1241but gukesh played rxd8 and that was a mistake but after rxd8 qxd8 Bxc5 Bxc5 Qxc5 over here also he lost a pawn?
@@AK-bn3dr gets 2nd pawn after Qf5+
Crushed for Andrey😪😪😪😪
How can these GMs blunder like 1000 rated me 🤔
missing sagae shah commentry
6:42 can anyone tell why he didn't take the pawn?
He wanted to save bishop .. otherwise knight would have taken it in 2 steps
My request is plz make SAGAR as pemanant commentrator.chess matches are colourless without him😢
Title say unbelievable knight fork, actually it was unbelievable blunder from andrey :( don't overhype it please
It is unbelievable tho. How andery calculated and played into fork. It's indeed an "unbelievable" fork.
And don't be surprised with someone wanting to get views with slight misleading title on yt.
BLUNDER AT 6:37 ESPINKO SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE KINIGHT
The knight fork was not unbelievable. The blunder was.
like me there will be "n" amount of player , between 1300-1600 rating,we dont understand the logic , calculation and potential behind some move fully.....😑,so plzz try to add your commentary in the videos 😅
thats the only blunder of knight fork
feel sad
7:35 is why u r here
what an amazing feeling if you wan that way. Esipenko do not show a great play in this much .
blunder should have a draw, luck on the part of gukesh
Drinking water means surrender..
IM ROOTING FOR GUKESH
Кони - опасные фигуры. Зевают фигуры и гроссмейстеры, тоже люди.
Funny guy 😅😅😅
Just a blunder on rather low time.
Indian kids are very lucky, not they outplayed but got lucky with opponent blunders!!❤❤ Good luck for next game champ!
oh ya..tell that to Nihal!
