I don't compare cars only at top speed. I have a video (on my channel) of a battle beetwen an original Golf R and an original Civic Type R FK8. BTW, top speed on both cars is about the same. Later we put the Golf on Stage 1 and the Civic can not match the Golf's performance. But with the original cars the Civic is faster, no doubt.

Not even close! The Civic Type R FK8 is a good rival for an original Golf R. Revo Stage 1 is much faster at any speed.
