This is an honorable stage where most popular music artists of the year compete in two groups, red and white. It is very rare that anime music get to be performed on this event. It shows how much that music caused social influence.
Could you image if Oda gets to chapter 2000 or something we a chapter that the final panel just says Now the Prologue is Over, let the adventure really begin.
The battle royale Oda mentions might be the the fight between pirate crews to see who reaches Laugh Tale first. Blackbeard vs Shanks wil probably be the catalyst. The revolutionary army vs the WG is already underway of some sort but i expect that after Laugh Tale the great war wil really start. So depending on how long Egghead and Elbaf is going to be we might end with pirate king Buggy at the end of 2023.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Jump Festa when One Piece ends or a year before would be One Piece themed, of course the other manga would have their announcements too but with a manga as important to the Jump as One Piece they should make something special

I have been watching One Piece anime since like 2013(Unfortunatly I do not remember exactly but it was sometime at the beginning of middle school) and once I cought up to the current end of anime, which was somewhere in dressrosa arc, I have been watching on and off weekly. This year is really big year in my One Piece journey as I decided to chatch up to the manga :D I started in May 2022 and finished in July , just as Wano was in its climax, and then after the July break of manga I started reading weekly. It's an amazing adventure that Luffy and Zoro lead us on and I just can't express enough how great it is to be able to finally be up to date and participate in all the theories and predictions. Big thanks to you Tekking as it was mostly your videos that made me want to start reading the current manga(I mostly just watch anime versions of series) and all your weekly chapter reviews are huge fun for me as I feel like I can share this thril of the story with everyone here. Let's have an Epic next One Piece year.

Can you imagine a battle Royal game where you drop down as a regular one piece citizen and you go loot boxes that contain devil fruits all over the map. And you can only have 1 fruit so you will essentially grab the first one you see or wait and risk finding one that you like to fight your way to be the last man standing in the one piece map? Would be dope.

I feel bad for those who have not been with the story for years. Binge reading a story or watching a series like GoT, you don’t get to stew on the story, miss too many details, and enjoy the anticipation. You just can’t have the same love for a series when you are late in the game.

I plan on reading through all of One Piece myself, but not when the final chapter comes out. I decided a long time ago that when we get to the chapter that ends with the Straw Hats about to arrive on Laugh Tale, to go off the grid on all things One Piece: to avoid spoilers until the volume that reveals what the One Piece is gets released in The States and is in my hands. I want to savor the journey, the mystery and the adventure this story has provided me for almost 20 years. I want to appreciate and be surprised by this story's climax. Funny thing about starting it from the beginning my mom started watching one piece a few months ago and she’s almost done with whole cake island and the fact he just said 5 more years is amazing he knows where here for the ride
World seeker had me hyped to swing around the island as our rubbery goof ball, but when I actually played it any time I gum gum rocketed I was instantly sniped down it was as if usopp and yasopp were all over the island restricting my airborne freedom. All in all the game isn’t perfect and felt empty at times but it was still fun to a certain degree
That part of the letter about the end of One Piece really has me even more hyped (also the "battle royale" part too...RAFTEL/LAUGH TALE ARC in 2023!?!?!??!)
I just hope we get to see Carrot again, the way Oda handled her in Wano was, honestly...Disgusting. She is utterly defeated and humiliated by Perospero, mocked to her face, told to go back to Zou to nibble grass....And the Dukes basically force her to do exactly that. Forcing the position of Duchess on her against her will. She ends up where she didn't want to be, thrust into a position she is utterly unequipped to handle (and does NOT want), and gets NO closure over Pedro's death. She doesn't even get to say goodbye to the Strawhats, her closest friends... PLEASE Oda, show Carrot some love. You utterly wasted her in Wano and handled her exit from the story in the most insulting way you probably could...It feels like Oda did it purely for meta-narrative reasons (either he didn't want to have Carrot in the story anymore OR he's got plans for her later), not because it made sense for her character, OR would be a satisfying sendoff for the readers who are invested in her journey. There are over 1,000 pokemon now Tekking. I started playing pokemon since gen 1 started however I didn't transfer my gen 1 and 2 pokemon forward to 3. Once gen 3 rolled around, I was able to transfer my pokemon forward and sideways between fire red, leaf green, and emerald into pokemon colosseum and pokemon xd gales of darkness on gamecube and through heart gold version. and from there I transferred my old data to gen 4 and onward to this day almost 20 years later. There is a strange sentimental attachment to this old pokemon data persisting into the future, particularly for pokemon that have ribbons and can accumulate more as they go through each game. It's a strange digital record of love for pokemon far rarer than any shiny pokemon in the wild. It's all 1's and 0's and yet, they have become precious in a way. Like aged wine or a good warm cup of aged saké. Also, One piece should be compared to an epic poem, it is the modern epic odyssey and probably in my opinion the greatest adventure story in all of fiction. If the gameplay of the new Odyssey looks fu and engaging, I might get me a copy to play it Stay awesome Tekking!
As a player of the card game, I look forward to seeing Vegapunk as a card, considering his satelite bodies could fill a whole deck by themselves. I'm sorry they sold out where you are, I haven't been able to get many cards myself. I did manage to open a couple boxes for my channel though! To add more to Tekking’s theory for Porygon facts, early concept art does show a scenerio of the player purchasing pokemon from a vendor. However it looked very sketchy and rather than a petshop feel it felt more like a poacher vibe. So it was removed, with Porygon being the only one using a similar feature because its more like a toy than a normal animal.
Of course he won't rush it he's not the type to rush and I don't think he wants too. He loves writing this story so much he's going to want to wring out every single idea he can possibly come up with while still moving toward the finish line. Plus he knows some people have been begging for the main charachters to have more of a spotlight, I personally think they've still been handled well but he's going to want to address that to make as many people happy as possible. I think the next two or three islands will be shorter but in the vain of pretimeskip arcs with a villian on each one. I still think there's a possiblity we get a Straw Hat vs Big Mom rematch on elbaf too.
I think most people forget that Case Closed is also very long and still on going 102v+. My problem is that it's episodic nature (1 mystery over ~3ch) and lack of any real major changes in the mystery around the Black Organization.
I just recently got World Seeker and I absolutely loved it. Instead of being a fighting game, it’s more action/adventure. I highly recommend it. I do have plenty of criticisms, but I’m not writing a full review here, so I’ll leave it at that.

That sounds possible, we know oda had to cut a load of stuff from the end of wano, (ryumas grave, yamato deciding to stay on wano etc.) So now would be a good time to paste in some of the zoro stuff before it's too late and he has his time to fight mihawk

I feel like everyone very slightly missed the point of Oda's message this year... The most correct translation would be something along the lines of: 「"Wow, this person will fight that person!?" That's the kind of manga One Piece will become from now on」In other words, we as fans of One Piece will have that reaction a lot from now on. The implication is that Oda isn't refering to one single fight between a specific "this person" and "that person", but to a multitude of crazy match-ups. Hence the battle royale comparison.
The final war arc could be 150 chapters long, just act 3 in wano was like 70 chapters to defeat kaido and big mom, they need more to defeat All the navy and cypher pol forces!
"World Seeker" was a really nice game in my opinion. But what stood with me (and might become relevant) was the Zoro DLC. You are playing as Zoro working together with Fujitora and Tashigi against Kizaru who wants something science related for the WG. The dialogs and dynamics between these 4 were super interesting and with Tashigi not far away at the Marine Base and Kizaru aiming for Egghead in 2023 I am super excited to see what will happen.
As for the One Piece TCG, in Portugal most stores went out of stock in the first 24h. So yes, huge success, yes they ran out of stock. I got myself two starter decks and this game is fkin fun already
Another additional crazy thing that happened this year: The English Dub reached Wano! The dub is actually in the same arc as the Japanese anime. Insanity!
I loved battle royale it's one of my fave japanese movies for those who are interested, a bunch of students are sent to an island and told to fight, kill and survive, it's like a combination of The Purge meets Hunger games I highly recommend watching it
The One Piece Warriors games are hands down my favorite! Pirate Warriors 4 is my favorite Pirate Warriors 4!…Also I actually liked the Cowboy Beebop anime
I really think One Piece should have a Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge style side scrolling beat em up. I honestly think in the hands of a good developer, like Tribute Games with Shredder's Revenge, it would be amazing. I'm also kind of expecting Oda to do a Wacky Races type section too.

Saw the title card and was just like, "Damn, chapter 2023 came out already?"
It really says something about how long One Piece has been going on when chapter numbers are looking more and more like actual years.
To add more to Tekking’s theory for Porygon facts, early concept art does show a scenerio of the player purchasing pokemon from a vendor. However it looked very sketchy and rather than a petshop feel it felt more like a poacher vibe. So it was removed, with Porygon being the only one using a similar feature because its more like a toy than a normal animal.

Of course he won't rush it he's not the type to rush and I don't think he wants too. He loves writing this story so much he's going to want to wring out every single idea he can possibly come up with while still moving toward the finish line. Plus he knows some people have been begging for the main charachters to have more of a spotlight, I personally think they've still been handled well but he's going to want to address that to make as many people happy as possible. I think the next two or three islands will be shorter but in the vain of pretimeskip arcs with a villian on each one. I still think there's a possiblity we get a Straw Hat vs Big Mom rematch on elbaf too.

I think most people forget that Case Closed is also very long and still on going 102v+. My problem is that it's episodic nature (1 mystery over ~3ch) and lack of any real major changes in the mystery around the Black Organization.
I just recently got World Seeker and I absolutely loved it. Instead of being a fighting game, it’s more action/adventure. I highly recommend it. I do have plenty of criticisms, but I’m not writing a full review here, so I’ll leave it at that.

That sounds possible, we know oda had to cut a load of stuff from the end of wano, (ryumas grave, yamato deciding to stay on wano etc.) So now would be a good time to paste in some of the zoro stuff before it's too late and he has his time to fight mihawk

I feel like everyone very slightly missed the point of Oda's message this year... The most correct translation would be something along the lines of: 「"Wow, this person will fight that person!?" That's the kind of manga One Piece will become from now on」In other words, we as fans of One Piece will have that reaction a lot from now on. The implication is that Oda isn't refering to one single fight between a specific "this person" and "that person", but to a multitude of crazy match-ups. Hence the battle royale comparison.
The final war arc could be 150 chapters long, just act 3 in wano was like 70 chapters to defeat kaido and big mom, they need more to defeat All the navy and cypher pol forces!

"World Seeker" was a really nice game in my opinion.
But what stood with me (and might become relevant) was the Zoro DLC. You are playing as Zoro working together with Fujitora and Tashigi against Kizaru who wants something science related for the WG.
The dialogs and dynamics between these 4 were super interesting and with Tashigi not far away at the Marine Base and Kizaru aiming for Egghead in 2023 I am super excited to see what will happen.
I still have doubts concerning the Netflix series. But until I see a trailer then maybe I'm convinced.
As for the One Piece TCG, in Portugal most stores went out of stock in the first 24h. So yes, huge success, yes they ran out of stock. I got myself two starter decks and this game is fkin fun already

I loved battle royale it's one of my fave japanese movies for those who are interested, a bunch of students are sent to an island and told to fight, kill and survive, it's like a combination of The Purge meets Hunger games I highly recommend watching it

I really think One Piece should have a Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge style side scrolling beat em up. I honestly think in the hands of a good developer, like Tribute Games with Shredder's Revenge, it would be amazing.
