How are they in -10° or 200° F.
Is the idea to miniaturize the final designs into something capable of search and rescue missions? these robots seems much to bulky though perhaps slightly smaller (but much less flexible) than a human. Seems having something really small that sets out from the "mother ship" to gather intel then return for charging might be interesting - snake pots, tiny drones for going up vertical shafts, etc I am sure the short term goal is just getting a very basic confined space mapped out and navigated in real time. No sinister explanations are necessary - this is just a really good challenge for developing robots and robotic specialists, with tons of spin-off applications duh!
y'all kinda kinda scaring me why do you need an underground tunnel system in such short notice and ya'll are so vague about it too
YXXXYYYXXXY - trying to make more autonomous systems that are more resilient and can make there own decisions without relying on human intervention/guidance. Best way to test is in an underground tunnel. Hard to get reception down there
The music is so loud and horrible we can hardly understand the narrator. Why, WHY do video makers think that crap music enhances the video??
I see we need to change one major factor. We must have very, very stringent admission standards of students from other countries, especially China, Russia, North Korea, Iran etc. We must stop all the industrial espionage and technology theft in the universities.
Most are asking why? So, why are you doing this? I noticed the downed miner in the scenario. I live in coal mine country & nobody has truly cared ever. Do you want us to believe that the people who could have helped all along have suddenly gained a conscious? So, why are you doing this? Try to tell the truth!
