- The Eventuri Carbon Fiber turbo inlet pipe has finally arrived after almost two months of me waiting for it. This application is not only for the Acura Integra Type-S (DE5), it also works on the Honda Civic Type-R (FL5). So for anyone interested in this mod, just know it will work on your Type-R.

any sound difference with the inlet pipe upgrade?
You get more of the pops/bangs while driving in Sport+ mode. And you def hear more suction on the intake with it as well. I hear you get a real sound change when you do the downpipe.

What do you think the weight saving is? Also is the the FK8 part that is just compatible with DE5?
@@tampablackwing I’m not sure what the stock one weighs, but I’d be surprised if the carbon version weighed over 2 pounds. It’s literally like holding a piece of paper from how light it is. The FK8 intake isn’t compatible with the DE5, only the FL5 version is.

My commute is 580 highway miles every week😢but still considering any way 😂Saludos desde Texas.
@@elvincastro9479 oh man! That is a massive commute to make happen weekly. I can see why you wouldn’t get one. I wouldn’t want to put all those miles on it. I have friends that live in Dallas and El Paso.
I have an o8 TL type S 6 speed and I’m thinking of getting the integra type s or a Lexus ISF 500 since they are priced similar but is the integra worth the big markup dealerships are charging for them?
Those older TL Type-S are beautiful. They still look sooo good till this day. I personally believe the Acura down the road will hold value better over the Lexus. I paid 5K over for mine, but I also got it in July of 2023 (while prices were crazy). If you can find one at MSRP (which people have), I would certainly get an Integra Type-S. They’re so much fun to drive.
@@RiveraRevolutions yeah they look so good and that’s why I like them over the type R more because they look aggressive and I do love The 3rd gen TL look but it is an old car.
@@E85_STI it may be old, but it’s still so beautiful. I’d love a Civic Type-R, but not as a daily. The front seat is pretty aggressive, and I owned the FK8, so I only drove it on weekends. If you can snap one for true MSRP, go after it
@@RiveraRevolutions thanks for that advice and it would be a daily so yeah the integra would be better and you are right the TL still drives great and power everything leather seats but the integra looks so good though lol I want to see what else you do to it I subscribed
