Thesis is like the Mozart of bboying/breakdance (dropping this term for non-bboys). Like Mozart, he started in his artform from a very young age (7), and was an absolute prodigy and still is one. His musicality, creativity and complex arrangements in his sets are (stretching the analogy, I know :) ) a bit like Mozart's compositions - highly original, flawless and game-changing! Wow, if I had even a fraction of his enormous range of moves and his raw talent I would be a very happy man indeed :)
Thesis musicality keeps improving. This young cat is very good at his craft. Dope battle too. Both went hard

Fully agree with you: excellence = natural ability x effort/dedication x knowledge x systematic approach. Thesis I assume has all of those, and I have no doubt his endless practice and dedication are keys to his brilliance :)

If Thesis is the dude in the gray shirt, he actually almost makes it look like it's not deadly injured animals in their final moments they're simulating. But I get the feeling I'm at a loss with these generations...and I'm only 40, damn it. The poppin stuff I kinda get, but bboys today...eh. Tough to find clips I can truly enjoy. Pity. I loved all that so much. But, yeah, Thesis had a few beautiful moments, sweet flow and bizarre transitions.

No problem! And it's kind of an ironic story. I searched hours for the song before and just gave up completely. So I went to watch a movie called The Dictator and in the middle of one of the scenes I heard the beat start playing and it shocked me but I went and got it then came to this video to let everyone know. I was at this event and thought it was fresh! The crowd was dead because it was hot as hell and everybody had been in there all day at this point. Why cant the bay area cater to bboy event's like this a little better? That gym was like a greenhouse and they wouldn't open the doors for a cross breeze. These guys were pros and rocked it!
